An embarrassing amount of my productivity occurs while listening to my Disney soundtrack Pandora station. Am I right, @TeamJVN?

Congratulations to @TeamJVN for winning the 2014 VEXpro Build Blitz! It was a very, very narrow decision, both teams did an amazing job.

After some fun with @TeamCopioli, pulling the robot off to change the battery and let it rest for the unveil. Broadcast will start at 11:55!
30 mins left and we have 2 bots with intake and launch! RT @libbyk: Robots playing catch here @BuildBlitz #omgrobots vine.co/v/hYlJZjbJQPQ

Scratch that about the second limit switch; turns out we actually just bent the existing one into a better configuration. Back to the field!

This team of mostly mechanical-minded brought in an expert: @Robowranglers student Cecilia helping with electrical!

ONE. HOUR. LEFT! Crunch time. We've got cameras on the work area and the practice field at BuildBlitz.com! #omgrobots #BuildBlitz

Dry-fire with the second switch - success! Headed back to the field.
Added a 2nd limit switch, paired on a Y-cable, effectively increasing the area where the bottom-dead-center position will be detected.
However, the limit switch for shooting the choo-choo is still too touchy. Having that problem where it may or may not randomly fire.
Initial test: ball still hitting intake wheels while launching - quick bit of surgical tubing to bring back resting position fixes that.
.@TeamJVN is moving to the practice field at the high school for the final hours! Stream will be up live soon. #omgrobots
YES. Successful full system test. Going to get an hour or 3 of sleep, then all field testing all morning tomorrow. youtube.com/watch?v=0Zi6OFtJ…
"Watch out, it might fire at any moment." Things you don't want to hear at 5am.
4:45 am checking in - the YES moment we were waiting for from the coders! A moment later, we launched a ball! #yesss
Code is being written, Charles notices a few small things that had been put on the "eh, later" list. Battery strap, tubing not secured, etc.
Finishing the code for the choo-choo limit switch. After this next test, the robot will be fully drivable.
Regulators in place - smooth as butter now. Tuning the flow valves for optimal pressure - the robot doesn't rattle when raising/lowering now

Mostly a success. Forgot to put in a pressure regulator. Not advised. #overpowered
