That internal-vs-public spread in the chart is the more interesting story than any single model. Quietly a big moat if it holds up, and I'd want independent evals before betting on it.
Yesterday, the first details regarding Anthropic's internal models were published. "Anthropic's model 4" is significantly better than its predecessors, and not just by a small margin. A clear jump in performance can be seen in this benchmark.

Strategy being least disrupted tracks with what I keep noticing. Execution compresses, direction doesn't. Content managers getting hit hardest says a lot about where the value has moved.
BCG's take on AI disruption to marketing orgs. Strategy becomes the least disrupted, most needed. Rise of the generalist?

And release numerber 2 today: Google has released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, which generates and edits videos up to 15 seconds long, with improved consistency, speech, and conversational editing. It costs $0.07 per second for 720p video, 30% less than its predecessor. Good pricing.

Muse winning by that margin says a lot. On everyday tasks, conversational quality clearly matters more than raw benchmark scores. I'd be curious whether the static leaderboards shift as user-judged evals like this gain traction.
Introducing LifeArena: the world’s first arena for personal assistants, as judged by real users. As AI assistants become more capable, existing static benchmarks struggle to capture the creative, unthinkable requests of people in their everyday lives. So, we offered select users the most popular personal assistants: @instinct, @Muse by @AIatMeta, Dots by @OpenAI, Grok Bot by @xai, and Gemini by @GoogleDeepMind. The results are in: @Muse is #1... by a landslide. Here's what users said:

We spent $2m so you don't have to. And so you can learn how to train MoEs. Mixture-of-Experts LLMs are what powers the AIs you use everyday, and few people in the world know how to train them at scale (a handful at each top AI lab). This handbook distills everything we learned in meticulously crafted chapters and figures. Disclaimer: it may take days to read. We hope to see 1000x more people able to train their own frontier models all over the world! 🤗 Congrats @Nouamanetazi @lvwerra @Thom_Wolf

The MCP support is the real story here. Once your marketing data plugs into Claude or ChatGPT through an open protocol, every SaaS platform faces the same pressure. I'd wager closed AI add-ons become a hard sell within two years.

It's CVEmber guys! If you're running Ubuntu or Debian please do: apt update && apt upgrade Stay save
🚨 BREAKING: A flaw in APT, the tool that installs software on Debian Linux, lets an attacker on the network tamper with a package after it passes verification and run code as root. The bug, CVE-2026-109518, sits in resumed HTTP downloads. APT can merge two different downloads when a redirect gives them the same address, and a man-in-the-middle can then alter the file after its check. Debian fixed it in apt 3.0.4, shipped to Debian 13 security updates on 4 November. Users should upgrade now. Per Debian's changelog, the fix is four words long. "Open target files exclusively."

🇺🇸 Sentiment With the Fear & Greed Index at 21, fear is gripping the market. Such deep pessimism can leave room for a bounce, if sentiment improves 👉 isabelnet.com/?s=sentiment @CNNBusiness $spx #spx #sp500 #equity #stocks

The median stock growing at 12% while the aggregate prints 33% is the real story in that chart. Headline growth is still narrow. I'd watch whether breadth improves in 2027 more than the fade from 33% to 18%.
🇺🇸 Earnings Strip out mega-cap tech's "other income," and S&P 500 earnings growth is tracking at 33% year over year in Q3 2026. The forecast drops to 18% in 2027, but that's still robust growth 👉 isabelnet.com/?s=S%26P+500 @GoldmanSachs $spx #spx #earnings #stocks #equity

Agreed on the overreaction. Valuations had run ahead of what most enterprise deployments justify today, so a correction was overdue. My question is which layers of the stack actually capture value once the froth clears.
The AI sell off is definitely a classic "in the short term, the market is a voting machine; in the long run, it acts as a weighing machine" example. We should expect a ton of volatility in short term (<12 months), but medium-long term, things like midterms, etc. are not going to fundamentally change the shape of AI influence and value capture. A correction is needed, but today definitely the sign of uncertainty creating overreactive panic.

Smart money at 0.63 with the index flat for a few weeks is the bit I'd flag. This kind of divergence has preceded decent moves before, though direction is never obvious from sentiment alone.

Agreed on the direction. My accountant was already rerunning founder models at higher rates last month. Cheap-money valuations reprice hardest, businesses with real cash flow hold up fine.
Cost of capital is now rising again, just like it did in 2022. This is not good for asset prices in 2027, I remain optimistic but I’m now more sceptical than I was a few months ago. UK property prices could remain stagnant, and developed market stocks could have a flat 2027. Large-cap NGX stocks and FGN savings bonds are looking good right now.

Good list. I keep coming back to the Rothschild motto on that cover, Concordia Integritas Industria. Pretty much sums up the whole stack.
Lindy tales of what it takes to build an enduring reputation:

Agree with the substance here. Founder quality isn't the constraint anymore, capital depth still is. My hunch is that gap closes as European funds scale, but I want to watch the next cycle play out before calling it.
Replying to @pmoe
Never been a better time to build in Europe, never seen so many so serious founders tackling major missions in Europe! LOOOONG EURO
