Sometimes TikTok randomly boosts my old posts and they go viral, and I have no idea why
1 hour a week. That's all it takes now to run TikTok marketing for 3 apps. Used to be hours per slideshow in CapCut and Canva. Now: copy a format that works → auto-generate slideshows → schedule the whole week. Same results. Zero manual editing.

Tried a few Windows laptops. Came crawling back to my MacBook. → Clean and simple → Quiet fans, runs cool → Buttery trackpad → Gorgeous screen Some things just work

It seems the more devs on a team, the longer it takes to ship. More people = more meetings, more reviews, more opinions to align. Solo, you just decide and ship.

Product #6 got rejected by Polar. Tried Dodo Payments & approved in ~30 minutes. Polar is still great. My other 5 products are staying there. Every platform just has its own criteria. Always have a plan B.

Im testing new format
Testing a new product format on TikTok: → 100% illustrated, no Pinterest images → Every product gets its own cartoon character → Every character gets its own story Currently: 200–700 views per slide. If it keeps working, I'll share the whole playbook.

My biggest marketing mistake: automating everything before the format actually worked. What I do now: 1. Do it manually, as much as possible 2. Find what actually resonates 3. Only then automate and scale Scaling something that doesn't work just helps you fail faster.

pl can google how to cook pretty much anything at home. so why do restaurants still exist?
The case for personal: An example SaaS today has 50 features. I need about 6 features, 2 of those features are not in the 50 features that the SaaS offer or they are locked behind an Enterprise plan. I don’t have time to scout around for alternatives. I also don’t want my data to be locked into the SaaS vendor. Vibe coding my own tool will probably take 1 day. It’s pretty simple math.

Built a tiny saas by pulling out a small feature from my main product. nothing complicated, just added more customization around it. doing 100% of the SEO with claude. funny thing is, barely anyone used this feature in my main saas. but once i made it a standalone product for a different niche, ppl actually started caring about it. kinda changed how i think about building saas. picking the right idea is probably the most important part. sometimes what you choose to build matters more than how hard you work on it.

Grow a SaaS until it starts making $ Find a cofounder to run it. Do nothing and collect 50% of the revenue. Sounds like a good plan?
