Nice to see that my 40 yrs old article has aged well. During my extensive research in pre-internet times I connected with many personalities of the 1st hour by phone, letters, and IRL. A pdf is available here: archive.org/details/ETC2766

One of the best early articles on computer art.
In 1986, @TeleCulture looked back at the first decade of computer art (1965–1975). He traces the shift from scientist led exhibitions to artists seriously using computers as a creative medium. It’s still one of the clearest overviews of the early years of digital art.

Grateful for the journey which started 45+ yrs ago creating Pix-Art in BASIC with a small video game machine to using contemporary AI imaging technology. And grateful for art lovers collecting all 8 Sounds of Vision. Thx @Palancus & @digitalartfan.bsky.social, highly appreciated.

DiceGL is still on view at random / random accès)s( exhibition in Pau 🇫🇷

Just saw the documentation of DiceGL, a collaborative project of two generative artists, Vera Molnar and Julien Gachadoat @v3ga. It must have been a special moment for both artists, representing two generations, to work together with such remarkable results. 🔗🔽

Some samples of the books we are offering. These have a heavy German focus. Don't worry, there are many English language books too, and some French and Japanese...
We mainly have approx. 30 Mohr, Verostko, and Hébert, all created before 2000/01, acquired from the artists. There is no catalog of inventory. Happy to inform you, email is best. DM for initial contact.
