Remembering the innocent fallen in the dastardly terror attack on 9/11.
Twenty-five years later, we remember the innocent lives lost on 9/11. We keep their families in our prayers, we will never forget them. We will always stand against terrorism.

The state often (almost everywhere) treats a protest as a problem to end. But this is a relationship, with an entire generation, being written in real time. The contract with them was: study, sacrifice, a secure future follows. It's frayed. Trust or lasting distrust, is being decided now by one thing: whether they experience the state’s response as fair, or as one more proof the “contract” was never real. Good to see the state being attentive now.

Indian PM @narendramodi at G7: The world faces a “shortage of trust,” not resources. On maritime security, he welcomed progress in West Asia peace efforts and said protecting shipping routes and ensuring seafarers can operate safely and without fear is a shared global responsibility.

When the smoke clears and headlines shift, those who bled quietly are forgotten. On the last day of war in Uri, Jammu & Kashmir, I stood where Pakistani shells had fallen—not on bunkers, but on homes, food stores, and childhoods. I heard their silence. And now, I’m sharing it.

A Nation That Devours Its Own? It is a singular disgrace that India’s Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri—an officer of unimpeachable character—has been subjected to a vile torrent of abuse for executing the lawful mandate of his government. But what defies all decency is the abhorrent targeting of his daughter—an innocent, unaffiliated civilian—dragged into the muck by digital mobs masquerading as patriots. This is not dissent. It is degeneracy. If a Foreign Secretary @VikramMisri is not spared, what recourse does the common citizen have? The Indian Administrative, Police, and Foreign Services must break their silence. Their collective inaction signals cowardice. This is the moment to stand—not in hushed condemnation, but in unflinching outrage. Patriotism should never be a veil for bigotry. As Samuel Johnson aptly said, “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.” It’s imperative that we, as a nation, stand united against such scurrilous attacks and uphold the values of respect, dignity, and justice. @narendramodi | @DrSJaishankar

Pakistan Flies In Foreign Journalists for PoJK PR Blitz — Narrative Laundering in Motion? A four-member crew from a major Japanese news network is being flown into Islamabad and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) this week — fully sponsored by Pakistan’s Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. The visit is being facilitated by Syed Sajjad, a private PR operator based in Rawalpindi. The entire trip, including access, logistics, and coverage routes, is being arranged through official channels — with diplomatic backing from the Pakistani-Thai Mission. The journalists involved — Mr. H., S., Y., and M. — are reportedly affiliated with TV channel’s Thailand bureau. Their passports have already been cleared and the itinerary approved. Key questions: •Why is the Pakistani government sponsoring foreign media trips to a sensitive and disputed region like PoJK? •Why are such visits being curated by a private PR man instead of independent journalistic channels? •Is this a damage-control move to shift international focus post the Pahalgam massacre and growing scrutiny of Pakistan-backed terror groups? •Will this result in sanitised coverage aimed at portraying Pakistan as a responsible stakeholder — while diverting attention from state-sponsored militancy? With foreign cameras now pointed at the region under official guidance, watch closely how the narrative is spun. When the story breaks, ask: Who funded it, who curated it — and who benefits from the script? Want evidence? Look here👇🏻(deliberately blurred for now)
