The annual tweet praising the NBC coverage of the Breeders’ Cup being shown on ITV4. All about the horses and betting - exactly what 99% of the audience is tuning in for. Same as the UK audience is.
Treating a legend like this is an utter disgrace. Heads should roll at that calamity club
James Anderson says he is "sad" and "shocked" by his release by Lancashire.
Anderson added the decision made him question whether there is "something fundamentally wrong with me as a person".

Don't understand why Division was held up for so long . . . gave him little chance of winning. Very strange after being so well backed too.
Hats off for the headline too!

Somehow racing has to stand on its own two feet more and rely less on parties it cannot control like bookies when it comes to funding. More than five million people attend each year - it's still a huge part of life in Britain.
I see it in a simple way, call me a simpleton. British racing should not be propped up or funded by electronic cash cow gambling machines. It isn't right is the moral standing. That aside, questions have to be asked why racing cannot be funded properly and plans have to be made on how it will be funded properly.
It really is time to step away from the machine, recognise what racing brings to people socially and how important the industry is, without the need for this seedy funding of the sport. View it as an opportunity, the road will be rocky and there will have to be some back steps, but please have confidence in the sport and the product.
Do not let these online big corporations ruin it for all like they have greyhound racing. Don't be reactionary, be visionary and take the steps needed to have a thriving sport in the long term, the short term view does not work!

I'm no jockey (obviously 😂) but when a horse veers like The Dancing Pirate aren't you better off putting the stick down?
Maybe they need to start man-marking the whole field - worked on Ombudsman but Item proved himself a proper G1 horse
I realise this is a bit random but does anyone have any copies of Raceform Update from its later years of publishing around 2010/11? Thanks.
While all these betting shops are going cheap - the racing industry (!) somehow could do with buying plenty up, taking out the FOBTs and making them places where you can bet on racing through the sport's own tote monopoly and bet fixed odds on other sport. Make them look nice etc
What the hell is going on? Bookies now public enemy No1.
