Mabon is a modern Pagan festival marking the autumn equinox, when day and night are nearly equal. A celebration of harvest, gratitude and nature’s slow turn towards winter, its modern name was taken from Mabon ap Modron, a figure in medieval Welsh legend. #FolkloreSunday

2 years ago I saw a white-tailed eagle flying overhead whilst cutting the hedge and this year I nearly fell of my ladder as a peregrine flew over clutching its quarry whilst being mobbed by crows 🫨 I should really just sit out there occasionally 😂
