Alaska is small in population but large in size with many remote villages and towns with few or no roads to get their.
One has to have priorities. If you have to miss class I’m sure a classmate will loan you their notes so you can cover a sporting event instead. You can also “play sick” from time-to-time and spread it out among your professors and hope none of them notice.

@VandySoccer officially gets the 2026-27 athletic year started tonight, and I could not be more excited to have Vanderbilt sports back.
One of my goals this year is to attend and cover as many Vanderbilt sporting events as I possibly can. Baseball, football, soccer, basketball, bowling, lacrosse, volleyball and everything else happening on campus. Obviously, life and school may occasionally get in the way, but you can just about guarantee that I’ll be at most Vanderbilt sporting events this year.
I had an incredible time covering Vanderbilt athletics last season, and I cannot wait to do it all again this year for The Dore Report. See you tonight!

Yes, I could, car or truck either one. I learned to drive using a car that had a stick-shift, a VW bug. I later owned a truck with a stick-shift. In the Army, I drove a truck with a stick-shift. Easy peasy.
