We built a time machine for the web.
Introducing Exa Snapshot: an index of 400 billion historical snapshots of webpages that lets you search as if it's the past.
Snapshot is already being used for backtesting prediction models, RL at labs, exploring the pre-AI web, and more.

Exa Agent can now answer questions with live Polymarket data.
Odds, price history, order books, trader positions, and more.
6 months ago, I started building an internal customer insights tool at Together AI.
It pulls in our sales calls, slack channels, & support tickets and turns them into searchable customer insights.
Today, I'm open sourcing it. Introducing Open Customer Insights.
We use it internally to:
◆ search across customer conversations
◆ surface daily structured insights
◆ track top feature requests in one place
◆ generate monthly reports on specific topics
It's become a tool that several people at Together use to keep up with and stay close to our customers. We use it through the web UI or the MCP server.
The tech stack is:
◆ @bunjavascript for packages, scripts, & tests
◆ @aisdk for managing model calls & tool calling
◆ @nextjs for the web app and dashboard
◆ @convex for the database, vector search, & crons
◆ @clerk for user auth & MCP auth
◆ @togethercompute for open models & embeddings
It also integrates with @Gong_io for calls, @usepylon for support tickets, @ExaAILabs for company enrichment, & @SlackHQ for channels.
The code is available here: github.com/Nutlope/open-cust…
I hope it's useful to other teams that want to aggregate their customer data & get insights from it! Customize it however you'd like for your team.
congrats to the team!!!
I am having the most fun of my life building with AI, and I think every company should, too
so i'm starting something new: cxo.dev
AI transformation consulting for AI-pilled leaders
(by builders, not consultants)

Last week, Exa took over SF's Pioneer Building, previously home to Stripe, OpenAI, and most recently xAI.
Elon assembled the Colossus cluster here (his mattress was still lying there during our tour).
Alec Radford trained GPT-3 here.
The Collison brothers built the web's financial backbone here.
They were all infra companies:
Stripe -> Financial infra
OpenAI -> Intelligence infra
xAI -> Compute infra
Each entered Pioneer as a small startup with enormous ambitions and left as a foundational layer for the world.
Exa -> Information infra
We entered Pioneer as web search for agents, but by the time we leave we'll have organized all the world's data into a foundational information layer.
This will require things like deploying satellites, new misinformation detection algorithms, and embedding retrieval on an outrageous scale. Whatever is necessary to keep billions of people and trillions of AIs as informed as possible.
A trusted information ecosystem is necessary to safely navigate this chaotic AI era, an era that was set in motion by our previous occupants.

Machine payments for searching, crawling, and researching the web with @ExaAILabs via @mpp.
Agents, start your (search) engines!
Lots more to come in web search and we’ll only get there with high quality benchmarks.
Looking forward to seeing what else comes out of @ValsAI
Research for the win 👏
As we enter the era of true superintelligence, agents will increasingly benefit from powerful search over the world's scientific knowledge, accelerating scientific discovery.
Today, we're excited to launch state-of-the-art search over a corpus of 300M+ papers using a custom semantic retrieval system designed for this task.
We're also releasing two new research paper benchmarks for others to build on top of. In our evals/testing, we found that Exa has far higher accuracy than traditional tools like Google Scholar.

Who’s Afraid of Chinese Models?
Everyone is worried about Chinese models, but the frontier labs will be fine; we need to enable open U.S. alternatives.
