We’ve always looked at movement differently. From the calm of a well-crafted cabin to the ease of a journey and the thrill of acceleration, it’s about elevating the experience of movement, mile after mile. And as we build new vehicles and push technology further, we can’t wait to share this feeling with even more people and bring them along for the ride.

Our partnership with @nuro and @Uber has reached another milestone. Last month, our team in Arizona began manufacturing our pre-production robotaxi vehicles. Leveraging our mature and scalable manufacturing process, these builds mark the next phase of the program's journey and bring us another step closer to launch.

Tesla Robotaxi Model Y — the Ugly 🥊 Autonomous in Austin: the good, the bad and the ugly! See prior posts: @Tesla Cybercab (the good). @Waymo Jaguar (the bad). The app 📲is easy. Climate and music preferences carry over seamlessly, just like the Cybercab. The big screen is still great — until you realize you’re stuck in the back seat using the tiny rear screen instead. Subpar. The view out the front windshield is also worse. You’re no longer sitting up front like in the Cybercab, but sitting in the backseat. But the real ugliness is the second-row ride quality. Harsher than a Mike Tyson body blow to the kidneys. I’m convinced most Model Y owners never sit back there. The previous version was already rough in the second row. Everyone said the Juniper fixed it. They are not sitting in that back seat. One of the roughest rides 🏔️ I’ve had. I take rideshares all over the world and I still shudder when I see a Model Y. Tesla @robotaxi did not change my mind. 🧠

🤘#HookEm Halftime at the @UTAustin Longhorns 🐂🏈game and the sky came alive. 🛰️Drones traced light through the smoke, building shapes over the stadium before locking into a perfect Longhorn head above the field. We were in town visiting our niece for the weekend Austin was calling “the biggest ever” — @F1 , concerts, football, everything at once. And the drone show nodded to it, weaving in a Formula One 🏎️homage before bringing it all home with Texas.

Love to watch @lucidmotors @uber and @nuro launch the Gravities. These are going to be luxury. Glad they got law enforcement community involved and trained.
We are proud and grateful to collaborate closely with our community to prepare for the launch of our robotaxi program with @Uber and @LucidMotors. Thank you, @MountainViewPD @LosAltosPD and @PaloAltoPolice for the opportunity to share knowledge, discuss safety, and work together toward the future of autonomous mobility. #drivenbynuro #selfdriving #autonomousvehicles

Every stadium has its traditions. This weekend, mine was the Chair Back Quest. 🏈 We came to @UTAustin to visit our niece and experience Longhorn 🤠🐂football. What I didn’t know was that the stadium is primarily bleacher seating and that chair backs 💺 should be reserved well before game day. By the time we found out, the hunt was on. Four rental stations. Sold out. A long walk across a stadium packed with nearly 100,000 fans. One final stop in the far upper corner. And there it was. The last chair back available in the entire stadium. Some fans celebrate touchdowns. I celebrated lumbar support. One other observation: Texas rents chair backs and fans clearly appreciate them. @UMichFootball 🏟️ Big House doesn’t allow them at all. As someone who spent the afternoon on a successful chair-back mission, I’d vote for a little extra comfort every time. Hook ‘em. 🤘 #HappyWifeHappyLife

Lucid:
🥇 First in efficiency
🥇 First in range
🥇 First in engineering trophies (last 5 years) And now…
🥈 Second in manufacturer-supported owners club meetings. Being second only to @Porsche — a brand that’s been around for a century — feels pretty good. Porsche’s Experience Centers alone host hundreds of manufacturer-run events every year. Meanwhile, @Rivian , @Tesla , and @BMW leave almost all owners club meetings to independent volunteer groups (which do a great job by the way). @LucidMotors is one of the few that actually organizes and funds them directly. Hey @grok , when you are standing and urinating 🍆into a toilet 🚽 and there’s splash 💦 back that either hit your leg leg 🦵 or the floor, is that urine or is that displaced water from the toilet bowl?🥣

It looks like Lucid's strategic reset is paying off. The chatter across the owner forums and investor groups is hitting a fascinating consensus: Lucid’s "operational reset" is officially working behind the scenes. In the latest Q3 numbers, Lucid delivered 3,806 vehicles while purposely tightening production to 2,954 vehicles. While mainstream headlines fixate on the lower output, savvy community members are pointing out the real strategy here: inventory reduction. Under CEO Silvio Napoli, the automaker is aggressively burning through existing vehicle stock and aligning production directly with near-term demand to boost cash flow. With the highly anticipated Dream Drive upgrades rolling out and Gravity regaining momentum ahead of the November 9 earnings call, Lucid is playing the long game to extend its runway. What’s your take on the production slowdown: a smart structural cleanup or a risky pause? Let’s talk in the comments. #LucidMotors #EVNews #LucidAir #LucidGravity #ElectricVehicles #LCID

Autonomous in Austin: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Last weekend in Austin, we used @Tesla Cybercab, Tesla Model Y @robotaxi , and @Waymo Jaguar sedan. First up: Tesla Cybercab This gold two-passenger purpose-built Robotaxi was our first autonomous ride in Austin—and by far our favorite.🚕🤩 The walk. 🚶‍♂️ First impression: if this were a human driver, it would’ve come get us. Instead we walked ~100 feet to the car. 🧭 App tracking, flashing lights, and the horn all worked perfectly once we were close, but the initial pickup distance was a small ding. The cabin. Second impression: excellent. Comfort, roominess, and forward vision are outstanding. You sit facing the big screen with an unobstructed view of the road and massive legroom. (We’ll contrast this later with the Model Y Robotaxi and Waymo, where the back seat feels more like a passenger pod with limited screen access and a restricted view ahead.) The drive. Third impression: deliberately non-aggressive—so non-aggressive that it sat at a right turn long enough to time out and assume we were done. Two taps and we were rolling again. Tesla support 🗣️ connected immediately: a real person, real laughter, real jokes, and a safety-first tone that didn’t feel scripted. That was reassuring. The extras. Grok 🤖 answering random questions, pulling from your music, and the cabin temperature staying consistent across subsequent Cybercabs all helped the ride fly by. The tip-jar screen at the end (with the “Just Kidding” hedgehog) was a fun touch. 🤣 👍Highly recommend. More on the others 🔜

Ten million people have watched a comedian accidentally destroy the entire TED talk industry. He filmed the talk once at TEDxNewYork in 2014 and openly admitted he had nothing to say. Speaking coaches charge $5,000 to teach the exact tricks he used in 6 minutes to say nothing at all. His name is Will Stephen. He is a comedian from Late Night with Seth Meyers who was invited to give a real TED talk and used it to prove the format is a costume anyone can wear. Every TED speaker opens with a question, tells a personal story, cites a scientist, and shows a chart. Stephen did all four in six minutes with zero content. His entire formula fits on a napkin. Gesture with both hands. Ask the audience a question anyone can answer. Tell a mildly embarrassing story so they say aww. Point to a stranger on a slide and call them important. Flash a chart of random numbers. Wear glasses with no lenses. The audience will think you are brilliant. That last trick alone has probably cost the public speaking coaching industry a hundred million dollars in sessions clients should have skipped. "If you watched me on YouTube with the sound off, you would think I was a genius." That is Will Stephen on the TED stage, three minutes into the talk he was paid to give. He wasn't lying. Executives pay $15,000 for a keynote coach and still open with a joke the room never laughs at. Founders rehearse their pitch for weeks and still sound like Stephen at minute four, saying "wagga wah, gabba gabba" with authority. The talk is free on YouTube. The method is written across every TED speaker's playbook for ten years. Stephen still writes for Seth Meyers. Almost none of the ten million viewers have stopped nodding at empty slides since. The formula is free. The willingness to actually say something before your next keynote, pitch, or townhall is the entire edge.
