🚨 NEWS: xAI Quietly Built What Could Be America’s Largest Battery System
Elon Musk’s AI operation has installed a massive Tesla Megapack system at its Colossus 2 data center near Memphis, with satellite imagery showing around 720 Megapacks.
The exact size hasn’t been confirmed, but xAI officials have described roughly 3.3 GWh of storage, while a local utility executive referenced up to 2 GW of battery capacity. The system is designed to help Colossus handle its enormous AI power demand while reducing strain on the grid during peak periods.
xAI bought about $430M of Tesla Megapacks last year, with another $405M purchased in the first half of 2026 after its combination with SpaceX.
AI needs compute. Compute needs power. And Tesla Energy is becoming part of that infrastructure story. $TSLA $SPCX

Looking at the numbers, this is going to get really interesting for $TSLA over the next decade or so!
1. 10,000,000 active monthly FSD subscribers for vehicles is $11.9 billion annually at $99/mo.
2. 100,000 Tesla semi trucks with active FSD monthly subscriptions is $21.6 billion annually at $18,000/mo.
3. 1,000,000 Tesla robotaxis earning $80,000/yr each is $80 billion annually.
4. Robots could add another $200-$600 billion per year once fully ramped.
They are actively gearing up to scale each of these technologies and businesses.
The 2030s are going to be quite exciting.

Tesla has just officially unveiled the European version of the Tesla Semi.
• Range: 550 km (~342 miles)
• No traditional side mirrors like on the U.S. version
• Similar headlight setup to the Model Y Standard
• Energy consumption: 1.0 kWh/km (1.61 kWh/mile)
• Fast charging: Up to 60% of range in 30 mins
• Drive power: Up to 800 kW
• Curb weight: <9,100 kg (<20,000 lbs)
• Gross vehicle weight: 40 metric tons
• ePTO (electric power take-off): Up to 25 kW
European deliveries start in 2027.
