Sometimes I wonder if Iโm normal to not bother too much about losing people or being too worried about what life brings.
Anyways, I wish yโall a beautiful day ๐ซถ๐ฝ

In the 2000s, knowing your crushโs landline by heart was a badge of honor. Today, itโs no longer compulsory to memorize your partnerโs number.
Thatโs fine for daily life, but schools are using this to banish memorization entirely.
That goes too far. Imagine trying to pass chemistry without memorizing the first 20 elements. You can't.
If you waste all your energy looking up the absolute basics, you have zero mental space left to solve the actual problem.
Without the baseline foundation, you won't even know what to ask ChatGPT.
Did school memorization help you, or is it dead?

Yesterday, I covered Basic (grade) one for a teacher who called in sick, and by the end of the day I had completed only four subjects well.
At the beginning of the term, I had asked this same teacher why she wasn't covering six subjects a day. I had never spent a full day doing what she does.
An administrator who hasn't spent sustained time in classrooms should not be the one to conclude that a teacher is ineffective, because they haven't seen what the work takes.
When youโre not the one responsible for teaching 28 students in a classroom every day, itโs easy to romanticize theories about inclusion, allowing students with ADHD to learn in their own way, and the supposed tyranny of classroom management.
But when bottles are flying, students are screaming, and chaos erupts every two minutes--it is rules, discipline, and consequences that save the day, not beautiful theories.

my father once told me a terrifying mystery about our village, where no woman was allowed to give birth to twins. Years later, a woman gave birth to twins, and the villagers surrounded her house, demanding that she hand over the babies before midnight. When I asked my father why, he looked me in the eyes and whispered, โThe last time twins were born here, one was buried alive, while the other grew up to become our village chief.โ

my mother once told me that in her village, every newborn baby had to be shown to the oldest woman in the community before sunset, or the child would mysteriously fall sick. One family refused, claiming it was an outdated superstition, but that same night, their newborn began crying in a strange voice that sounded exactly like an old man. The next morning, the oldest woman visited their house, looked at the baby, and whispered, โSo it has finally returned.โ
