The coastal elites hate Americana. We know what they really think, and we know why they are so quickly defending Obama’s snobbery. They might think they are “too good” for the Cheesecake Factory, or find the decor to be tacky, but most regular Americans don’t

Wow, Fauci is such a freak. Here he is arguing against a CDC that wants to let people make their own choices to get tested or not before being "let out." Bonkers stuff. He imagined himself to be the nation's prison warden.

“I grew up in Steinbeck’s sleepy, dusty, indolent land of milk and honey. It was murdered by newcomers who couldn’t understand why we didn’t do things the way they did them where they came from. They succeeded in turning California into New Jersey with slightly better weather. Gone are the orchards, vineyards, and fishing boats, canneries, and sawmills, the miles of tomato fields and corn, peaches the size of softballs, cherries still warm and dusty from the orchards. They paved paradise to put up a strip mall and a used car lot. I’m glad I won’t have to watch the tragedy unfold much longer. I’m 79 in a couple of weeks.
When I was a kid you had to know where to go, and hike a few hundred yards to find the giant sequoias. Now there are fences around them to keep people from spray painting them, and metered parking spaces. San Francisco was home to actual working fishing boats selling crab and salmon at the wharf. Now it’s just a facade for backgrounds in photos taken by European tourists.
I fled the rape of the home I was born to, and relocated to Oregon. It took 20 years for the plague of know nothings to spread their vandalism there too. Now I have retraced the footsteps of my ancestors to the Midwest, where some sanity remains. It’s been almost 400 years since they landed in the New World. If they could see the end result I think they might have stayed home. But for a brief, shining 100 years or so, there was such a thing as paradise there on the West Coast, where the rebels and the misfits fleeing coal soot covered industrial cities in the East built a magic land of freedom and plenty. RIP”

People hate when I say this, but my uncle built a data center in Missouri and he said it was the best union job he ever had. They catered lunch and brought in physical therapists to teach the workers stretches to help keep their bodies in good shape for the hard work.
