I don’t spend much time thinking about transgendered people one way or another. It’s just something I have no opinion on because it does not directly affect me at all.
I do, however, care about endless wars, government policies that endanger farmers and ranchers and the safety of our food supply. I’m concerned about a mentally impaired president who pisses off our allies and emboldens our enemies. I care about this insurmountable debt that we are racking up and out of control and out of touch billionaires having too much influence over our government and how our tax dollars are being spent. I care about gas prices, food safety, the cost of healthcare, the high price of everything.
I care about kids going hungry, our education system and how it is failing us all. I care about the government becoming too involved in our personal lives and dictating their version of morality on us all. I care about racism, sexism, misogyny, propaganda, agenda-driven news stations bending to the will of advertising dollars and a madman who is putting cheap and tawdry gold plating on everything in the White House and destroying our national monuments with his unbridled incompetence and turning trigger happy goons loose in the streets of America to harass citizens as well as immigrants and I care about a corrupted Supreme Court serving a completely mad President while blatantly ignoring the Constitution and the very essence of our democratic republic. I care deeply about the world we are leaving behind for our children. I care about the world I’m leaving behind for my children.
But when it comes to something like transgenderism which only involves 2-3% of the U.S. population it’s just not on my radar and quite frankly, it’s none of my fucking business.
Focus on real issues. Not the diversionary bullshit.
