Never understood why the Titans have had this mentality for years and refuse to change it
In no way should the #Titans have traded Jeffery Simmons.
You build around difference-makers, not pray to draft & develop what you already have.
Good night.
“Meaningful football”
Jeffery Simmons after MNF win, via @JoriEpstein:
"It means a lot to me to be able to play meaningful football ... Tennessee had been nothing but good to me ... to be (in Chicago), it's amazing."
Ok I’m tired of holding back…..AMY ADAMS STRUNK please do us all a favor and SELL THE TEAM!!!!
Breaking: The Titans are trading All-Pro DT Jeffery Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round pick to the Chicago Bears, sources tell @AdamSchefter and @RapSheet.
Tennessee will receive 2027 and 2028 first-round picks and a 2027 fourth-round pick.
Can we leave Joey Halzle in Columbia?? That 4th and 1 playcall was so weak!! Running an option in that situation is a fireable offense IMO
Sark gonna say all this and still watch him throw meatball sammies to the defense
NEW: Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian says QB Arch Manning is "edgy" right now:
"I think that somebody texted me today that we lost the 'Ah Shucks kid', you know, and we've created something else. I don't know if we lost him. We created this, you know. We did, all of us, y'all included, meet the whole thing, right? Everybody on ESPN, we've created this."

I will say it again…do not let Jim Knowles leave Knoxville until he is ready to retire
And yet…people on this app still want to get rid of him
Josh Heupel has now reached six wins in each of his last five Octobers at Tennessee.
The #Vols didn’t reach six wins in October every year from 2007-21.
I’ve seen enough. Go ahead and give Jim Knowles a lifetime contract. It’s been years since our defense has looked this good
An actual logical expansion take
NEW: Nick Saban on the 24-team College Football Playoff format:
"I would be for 16, I think that would be a good compromise. I would be for keeping conference championship games as a play-in for the 16."
He later added: "The bottom line is money. That’s the bottom line. Universities need it because of the way we’re spending more now for players."

I need DaSaahn Brame to have more situational awareness. That’s twice now where he has caught the ball inbounds costing us precious time on the clock in end of game / end of half situations
