This AMA won't expire, FYI! You can always tag me in a question and if you're on the fence whether to submit to me I'm happy to chat and let you know if I think we'd be a good match! Putting your work out there is scary enough, don't send it out in a vacuum. Let's talk!
Excited to get to work with @stalbergwrites on her manuscript!

Alright... just a little over 24 hours before I'll have mentors' picks!
Drop a gif to show how we're doing!
So many absolutely BANGIN' opening lines in these @writeteammentor submissions! Truly a feast. Well done, writers!

Well. We did it!
Mentee hopefuls, emails have gone out for your next step. If you did not receive an email, please let me know!
Mentors are READY FOR YOU!
ANGST
at all the pitches I couldn't/shouldn't like because they're outside my listed wheelhouse! I read so widely that it felt impossible!
👀ONE👀HOUR👀REMAINING👀
Describe your experience in 1 word and then shoutout a project that you enjoyed learning about!

Oh my god straight to the heart of my insecurity🔪❣️
I’m fond of characters (or situations) who are outside the box - awful, or quirky/unexpected. If you can make me raise my eyebrows in chapter one, your odds are good! Add clean prose and a pretty metaphor and I’m hooked.
While you're here, and I'm here, and we're vibing, why don't you AMA?? I never did one in the run up to this event, but you can ask me anything now!
🍂Happy September🍂
Today's the day of #WTPitch 2024!
🍂Please DO NOT heart/like pitches from our mentee hopefuls.
🍂Please DO comment and get to know the talented writers that made it through to this round.
At 8pmET, pitchers will receive an email for next steps.
✨Good luck!
Snacks: check!
Giant water bottle: check!

I WILL BE THERE! I know I’ve been quiet as of yet - life has been a LOT lately - but I’m all squared away and ready to read your excellent pitches!
‼️CORRECTION: #WTPitch is Sunday, September 1st.
This is what short weeks do to me, folks.
