Where I am with Nyoni is I see the talent amd I see the potential but I’m not jumping out of my seat just yet like a lot of other fans . Elliott and Jones are cautionary tales . I genuinely think this kid can be better than both of those but we need to see a little bit more

So I finally watched the last episode of This City is Ours last night and blown away by that finale . It had eveything that you needed to make you wanting more . Quality viewing at its very best

I will never accept any disrespect of joey Gomez . His career has been blighted by injuries and he maybe could have moved away on a number of occasions but that man bleeds Liverpool red and I love how much the club and the city and the fans mean to him .

You just don’t like to hear players who have been significant in Liverpool’s modern history booed at the ground .. but when you take eveything into account you can understand why it happened. It was what it was .

I totally agree that moving to Chelsea is a strange move for a guy who spent the best part of his career captaining a club whose values and principles are so diametrically opposed but as a professional a job is a job i guess

It feels funny defending Hendo because in his early days i literally didnt see his value as a player at all . It was only after he assumed the captaincy that I really saw what he brought to us and what we were so bereft of particularly last season.

What I’ve seen so far tells me that if you cut through the romance Iraola was the right choice instead of Xabi . I don’t think we should regret that decision at all . We should celebrate it. Pretty inspired actually

We know that we still lack a bit in certain areas but Iraola has restored a mentality , a team spirit and a pride in the shirt that was totally absent last season . The pro Slot brigade have just melted away like snowflakes in the hot sun ☀️

Like many others i just didnt get the booing of Hendo and im struggling to understand it . Other players who have given far less to the cause over time have received greater acclaim on their return . It was really poor and not very Liverpool to be honest

Grav is such an interesting player to watch . Athletic gifted and when he opens up with that long stride and surges through midfield he looks imperious . At other times he appears so distracted he looks like a guy whos thinking about which box set to watch on Netflix later .

The lads showed a lot of heart and guts . We deserved to get through but there is a real inequality in our squad in terms of individuals ability. The drop off from our first 11 is bigger than we would like it to be but we will get there eventually

I definitely think only Rio is truly ready to play regularly at this level but thats not to say the other youngsters havent got potential or talent . It’s just not their time yet

I think a top class squad has 2 11s and we have 1 and a half 11’s which we are padding out with kids who are not quite ready . They can be of value in the future but not right now imo

All credit to the young lads but with the exception of Rio and I include Nyoni .. they are not ready to play football at this level . It’s not that they lack potential but they just aren’t seasoned enough to play against senior professionals

It’s a gift for Chelsea who have been awful

So far another typical Gapko performance at centre forward . He’s been excellent this season but he just doesn’t understand how to move like a central striker

I think it’s a massive positive that Liverpool have a defence that can actually win them some games . This would have been impossible last season

7/10 performance which is maybe slightly generous but only slightly generous . We did what we needed to do

All credit to Virgil .. poor in midweek but rock solid today . That’s how a proper player reacts 💪

What is it about LFC and Uruguayans 😂😂😂
