If you ask God for COURAGE,
He does not simply hand you courage.
He gives you the chance to be BRAVE.
If you ask for STRENGTH,
He gives you struggles to overcome.
If you ask for FREEDOM,
He hardens you for the fight ahead.
If it came quick, we would loose it quicker.

This has become relevant again with Jeff Rath bring kicked out of the UCP ahead of the AGM.
Conservatives unfortunately dont tolerate freedom within their own caucuses.
I came to the Conservative Party of Canada convention here in Calgary today as an observer. I bought a observer ticket. I followed the rules. I showed up in good faith because I believe political parties should be open to scrutiny, debate, and participation even from people who disagree.
But when I reached the registration desk, I was denied entry.
I was told I’m considered a “separatist agitator.”
No explanation. No refund. No incident. No evidence. Just a label and I was told to leave, despite paying money to be at the event.

What’s coming was avoidable, but Republicans in Congress let Trump start a war, increase spending, arm a genocide, betray MAHA, and cover up for Epstein’s coconspirators. I was ousted with over $30 million of foreign lobby money for refusing to go along, and here we are.
The only the 3 R's can save the republicans.

Our Values in Alberta, align more with our brothers down south then they do with our sisters down east
The only thing official from Elections Alberta is the precedent they have established: selective application of guidelines to certain parties, while conducting a referendum built on loop holes such as the irrelevant Part 5 of the Order in Council.

Say what you want about the US 🇺🇸Secretary of War;, he holds generals accountable for their actions.
When was the last time a #CAF general was fired in Canada?
Think 🤔 about - misspending, inappropriate sexual behaviour, and poor readiness of troops and equipment….no firing.

BREAKING - #ableg
Today, DANIELLE SMITH tried to deflect from accidentally sending a text meant for Tom Lukaszuk to Jeff Rath by telling Nenshi that Rath is an NDP problem because Rath “donated to the NDP”.
What Smith is referring is that in 2015 and 2016 my office bought 2 tickets to 2 different leaders events when Notley was premier. From my best recollection I attended the 2015 event and gave the 2016 event ticket to someone else. I never bothered to attend one ever again.
This does not make anyone an NDP “supporter”.
I have never been a member of the NDP or ever voted for the NDP.
11 year old event tickets have nothing to do with SMITH betraying 56% of the UCP vote by working underhandedly with Lukaszuk to rig the petition process and the recent non-binding referendum.
What it does show is that SMITH can’t be trusted to lead.
ALBERTA MEDIA ALERT 🚨
What none of the Media are understanding is how involved Danielle Smith was behind the scenes in manipulating the petition and referendum process.
Prior to the November 2025 AGM Danielle Smith Would text Jeff Rath on a relatively regular basis.
On June 30, 2025 Smith sent a text to Jeff Rath by mistake that was obviously meant for Thomas Lukaszuk.
The text said
“Told you not to submit until the new rules came in. This has to be conducted under the old thresholds”
This text was sent AFTER Lukaszuk had submitted his petition under the old rules and Lukaszuk was already Lobbying to have his petition be permitted to meet the lower signature threshold under the new rules.
Rath responded to Smith by saying that Smith had obviously intended that text for Thomas Lukaszuk.
Smith, obviously flustered tried to lie her way out of it claiming :
“No I meant to send it to you. I told you and Mitch to wait until the new rules came in and it sounds like you did”
The problem with that explanation is that Smith never told Rath anything about waiting until the new rules came in. We were doing it in any event.
The obvious context of this text and the timing of it that Smith was colluding with Lukaszuk to rig the petition process and subsequent referendum against her base in favour of the Forever Canadians.
Of course if what Smith was saying about NOT accidentally sending a text meant for Lukaszuk to Rath (which is less likely) this gives support to what people were saying at the time about Smith being a secret separatist. (which looks even less likely)
The simple fact is that on either formulation - manipulative secret federalist or manipulative secret separatist, SMITH is unelectable.
Understanding who she is as a person, who in their right mind would ever vote for her ever again, on either side of this debate.
Exactly!
We need to do the same thing here!
See you in the trenches.

Liberals are red, Conservatives are blue. Theyre all left of center and don't give a fuck about you. The NDP are orange and the Greens are.....Green......every single one of them can go fuck themselves, know what I mean?
All government, the entire system is the problem you see? Fuck all centralized authority, we need property rights and individual liberty.
All 10 questions in the October 19, 2026 referendum were placed on the ballot through government Orders in Council, not directly through successful citizen initiative.
We survived.
We broke records.
Most importantly we never lost hope!
See you at the AGM..

OFFICIAL UPDATE: THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY OF CANADA REMAINS DEREGISTERED
I wanted to take a moment to provide everyone with an important update regarding the Libertarian Party of Canada and our efforts to get the party registered again with Elections Canada.
Unfortunately, despite collecting hundreds of signed membership declarations, we fell just short of receiving the 250 confirmations required by Elections Canada. As a result, we will have to submit another application for registration.
First and foremost, I want to thank every single person who took the time to sign a declaration, help collect signatures, or support our efforts. We came incredibly close, and I genuinely appreciate the work that went into getting us this far.
For those who have already signed, there is some good news.
Elections Canada has confirmed that we can reuse your previously signed membership declarations. You do not need to complete another form at this time. However, when we submit our next application, you may receive another verification request from Elections Canada. If you do, please respond, even if you already completed the verification process previously.
I also want to take some personal responsibility for this delay.
As Deputy Leader, I was pushing our executive team to get the party registered as quickly as possible. I wanted us to have the opportunity to participate in Alberta's referendum and the federal by elections taking place across the country.
Looking back, I believe I was rushing the process more than I should have. While we still managed to participate in these events individually, and some of our candidates ran as independents, I recognize that we could have approached registration more carefully.
That's something I've learned from, and I intend to do better moving forward.
So, what's next?
Our executive team has agreed to take a different approach this time.
Rather than rushing to meet the minimum requirements, we're setting ourselves a much more ambitious goal of collecting at least 1,000 membership declarations before submitting our next application to Elections Canada.
We want to accomplish this before the end of 2026, but we are not working toward an immediate submission deadline.
This also gives us an opportunity to do something I've wanted to see for quite some time: rebuild the party itself.
We're going to spend this time strengthening our internal organization, reconnecting with supporters, working with the provincial libertarian party's, recruiting future candidates, and ensuring that we're properly prepared for the next federal election.
I don't want us to simply get registered again. I want us to become a serious political organization capable of staying registered, running candidates, and representing Canadians who believe in individual liberty, free markets, property rights, smaller government and for a fair deal for Alberta.
And I intend to remain fully committed to making that happen.
If you're interested in becoming a member, volunteering, helping collect declarations, or getting involved with the party in your province, please reach out to me directly either here on X or at [email protected]
To everyone who has supported us throughout this process, thank you. I know this setback is frustrating, especially for those who have already gone through the registration process with us.
But we're not finished.
We've got a party to rebuild, and I'm looking forward to getting back to work.
Long live liberty, damn it!
Michael Harris
Deputy Leader, Libertarian Party of Canada
