I actually think this is outstanding, any data and studies on plants in stressful situations shows it’s only benefits. Just looks odd in a dressing room 😂

I absolutely love my manager 👏🏽👏🏽

Fair play he’s been getting pellets for years 😂
People tweeting Harry Kane will easily break Wayne Rooney's England record like he won't be playing for Stoke in the championship in 2018

I haven’t seen a keeper this good since Raya 24/25

When you’ve already made you first scorer bet
Gyokeres scored our only goal against Fleetwood. I genuinely think benching him for Havertz at Anfield would send the wrong message. He's earned another start.

I’m sure he’ll be staggered and humbled by this

I remember the Bradford game, at least we could blame the pitch, the long balls and ruthless atmosphere. We bowed out with a whimper. Arteta really could have done with a cup.

Merino up top until the end of the season. These bums can sit on the bench until May.

With respect, there is no way this starting 11 should lose to a side bottom half of League Two. Embarrassing performance by the seasoned players in this squad.

Havertz and Gyokeres are 0.6 of a PL player. They have great attributes, but not enough to make a consistent impact at the top level. Really poor from them both today.

Honestly, this game has been a disaster. Half this team needs to be sold in the summer, if not January. Being in fresh blood that wants to fight for the badge. Penalties is a disaster here.

I’ve seen it all from Gyokeres apologists
By playing Merino at #10 and Havertz #10 in the cup games, we are totally setting up Gyokores up to fail.

Nice to see Havertz showing he can shoulder a header at every level of the football pyramid

So let me get this right, everyone complains about Arteta being out of his box, pundits pick up on it and carry the (accurate) narrative, he’s then rightly punished (yellow), multiple other managers are unpunished, he’s asked about it, mentions others, and he’s brought this on himself? Make it make sense.
Ex-Premier League referee Graham Scott (@Refsplaining) has shared his verdict on whether Mikel Arteta is being unfairly targeted for his touchline antics: I’d say Mikel Arteta is in the spotlight because Arteta has decided to make an issue of Arteta’s treatment. Arteta is in complete control of his own behaviour on the touchline, from where he chooses to stand to how he decides to react. He is the one employing an analyst to review footage of the Premier League’s technical areas. He did not have to reveal this. The Premier League could stop all of this by fixing a camera on the benches and fining miscreants every time they step out of line (literally). But the league likes the pantomime and has never minded the officials being cast as villains, so a change of approach is unlikely. 🔗 nyti.ms/47NLV11

Saka has had an odd season on the pitch, frustrating and now plagued with an injury, his work off the pitch has been outstanding and needs more of a spotlight hence the award shared last night. I wasn’t aware of just how much he’s done in such a short time. #AFC

Mbappe scored 58G + 13A in all competitions last season. Harry Kane scored 73G + 8A. In one season. Yamal is incredibly exciting to watch but he isn't in their league YET. He's 19, he'll be there again, provided he ignores his dad's advice.

Upamecano scored from winning the ball here. 15 mins into the game. The Bundesliga is not serious.

Yamal is so funny man. Gordan can do no right unless it's passed to him, even if he's double-marked.

It seems bad but Manchester United can bounce back with a few good results. They just have to play well against… *checks notes* Chelsea A Aston Villa H Liverpool A
