One interesting thing with this is that Wight-Box uses descending AC, and this was not confusing at all for any of the players. Though I think it's because they had no extensive prior experience. Goes to show DAC isn't as hard to understand as many like to pretend.
I think what i like about these older rules is that you get to do more things in a session because you are not as bogged down.
Session recap: The party consisted of all level ones. A Fighting-Man, a Cleric, and an Elf. They started in the debached and choatic aligned city of Ossein, ruled by the wizard king Kematian. They wanted to get out and left as caravan guards for a nerchant named Liam.
They continued on to the castle and earned enough XP to level up to level 2 and be one XP short of level 3. Thats how much wealth they found on the wizard.
