Partner highlight! Knox Presbyterian in the Oliver neighborhood has met this pandemic with holy force! Find them distributing fresh produce, meat and hygiene projects, and keeping up their new native plant garden.
This year, we are tithing donations to partners like Knox. You can give today: bit.ly/3mcl7z8
Some of our staff is out and about visiting @baltimorepresby churches today to talk about partnering with us on new environmental projects! Turning those lawns into forests and farms! #mission #ecojustice #catonsville #baltimore
This month, we’ll be celebrating the good work of our partners across the presbytery! Today? A new partner: the Greenmount West Neighborhood Association, whose leadership includes our friend, Pastor Michele Ward.
Greenmount West is a vibrant, diverse neighborhood built on relationships. The Center joined in their neighborhood clean up days, weekly grocery deliveries, and analysis of public amenities this summer.
GWNA is one of the partners we will tithe our donations to as part of our fall fundraising campaign. To support our work and the work of our partners, visit bit.ly/3mcl7z8.
A perfect day with West Side Story ministry group members at Stillmeadow Community Fellowship! #mission #urbanforest
The last year has been FULL of holy work on a small budget at The Center & in our partner churches.
So our fall fundraising campaign is kicking off with big news: this year, 10% of what you give will be divided among the partners that have hosted our groups during the pandemic.
Worried that booking a trip now means you lose deposit money later if covid surges? Not here!
If you have participant who’s sniffly, sick or has been exposed to someone with Covid, they stay home and we’ll send a full refund.
We’re loving our neighbors with vaccines, tests, and masks.
Registration for overnight mission groups is open, and our Covid-19 safety policies are on our website: thecenterbaltimore.org/serve. #mission #covid_19
