PlayStation France reveals Grand Theft VI PS5 Pro features🚀
✅PSSR
✅Advanced Ray Tracing
✅AI-powered upscaling
✅Sharper image quality on 4K screens
✅Improved reflections, shadows & lighting
The listing however mentions “Atsu” from Ghost of Yōtei, which feels like a copy/paste error on behalf of whoever is editing the listing page. So layne the whole details are not meant for this game, or it’s just a standard template that’s been copied for all games with PS5 Pro features.

Sony is offering players to trade in their PS5 console and receive up to $400 for it🚀
The trade in is done through Back Market who can evaluate your console, asking you about the model, the storage size and overall condition, and gives you an estimate price for it, similar to Apple’s trade-in program for their devices.
The offer comes from notifications on the PS App, reported by “Jay_Horror” from ResetEra.
Crazy how this is happening in a time when the market is selling consoles for vastly inflated prices due to shortage.
Do you think $400 is a reasonable price or would you rather sell your elsewhere?🤔

Mark Darrah ex-Dragon Age executive producer served as a consultant during the final stages of Dragon Age: The Veilguard after leaving BioWare in 2021🚀
He made a statement about ignored advices that he gave to the team, in an interview with Eldorado GG:
✅BioWare dismissed many of his recommendations while he was consulting, which he described as frustrating.
✅Some of his suggestions were only accepted later after a different team made the exact same recommendations.
While EA has been historically known to have the worst leadership and makes statements that clearly show how detached from reality and gaming audiences they are, some of BioWare leadership appears to have also been part of the problem why the studio has been going downhill since at 2014.
That said, Mass Effect Universe showed great promise and I still believe they need to either sell the IP to another studio or help BioWare go independent with the IPs to finish Mass Effect, and have another shot.
Especially that right now, more people than ever are showing love for the brief glimpse they saw from the game.

ARCANE Lyon is claimed to be attracting multiple bidders, including Ubisoft, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier🚀
“Multiple companies have made offers to Microsoft Corp. to acquire Arkane Studios, the French video-game developer behind the Dishonored series and an upcoming title based on the Blade comic books, according to people familiar with the negotiations.
Ubisoft Entertainment SA made a bid for the studio, as have at least two other gaming companies, said the people, who asked to not be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. Xbox has also weighed selling the studio to its management.”

The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel will quite likely be a multi-platform cross gen release in PS5, PS5, Xbox Series, Project Helix and PC🚀
If they wanna go full exclusivity mode, they should exclude PC and Game Pass, because a game is never truly exclusive if it comes to PC or part of a service that is accessible on both platforms that practically gives the game away for free.
If there is a multi-platform launch on PS5/6 day one, Game Pass wouldn’t affect it much, but if it’s gonna be an exclusive, it might as well make paying full price for the game on one console the only way to access it.
Otherwise, this is Gears of War and Starfield all over again, and bringing it to PS5/6 6 months to 2 years later isn’t gonna make any much difference, because anyone who cared to play will have gotten it from Game Pass on PC or Xbox
SENTINEL is the next chapter of The Elder Scrolls. An incredible way for @BethesdaStudios to mark 40 years of building worlds that speak to millions of players across generations. Congratulations to the team, past and present.

Steam has restored video game purchases for a player who deleted his library without refunding/downloading them🚀
Steam and GOG are setting a great example for how to handle digital media, something no console, especially Sony can even compare to.
(Credits to u/lizardintrenchcoat)
This is precisely why consoles cannot be compared to PC in terms of physical media and ownership.
PC is all-digital, yes. But it gives you options of different stores to buy from, and some of those stores, like Steam has great policies that honor purchases even if a game is removed.
GOG allows you to get DRM-free games that can be put on disc even.
Consoles only limit players to their own storefront and their polices are predatory and insist that you don’t own any of the games you buy, and they can be taken at any time without compensation.

Unreal Engine 6 updates coming from Unreal Fest Tokyo 2026, targeting early access in 2027🚀
✅Removal of Core UE Systems in UE6, Blueprints, Actors, and the C++ Gameplay Framework are confirmed to be completely deleted (rather than phased out or merely deprecated) in UE6.
✅While C++ remains the base of the engine and is still recommended for Physics and Rendering, it will not be compatible with the new Verse- and Scene Graph-based Gameplay Framework.
✅Tim Sweeney addressed the Blueprint removal directly and apologized to the community during the announcement.
Migration Support: An AI-assisted migration path will be provided to help transition projects from UE5 to UE6.
✅The Unreal Engine 5.9 Preview releases next week, featuring Model Context Protocol (MCP) updates alongside other improvements.

It would be amazing to start seeing tech demos soon. It will give us a good look at the potential for next gen, although knowing how things work, we probably won’t see any being near that for 4-6 years into the next generations
Tech demos tend to have some of the best concepts out there, and I wish some of them end up being full games, at least the ones shown before this generation started.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake almost had fast-travel added to it, but Nintendo removed it last minute🚀

Cancelling fast travel would allow players to actually spend time exploring the world and not missing out on the sense of discovery😎

Whether it’s saving physical media and saving Mass Effect from cancellation, we need to be loud, and show demand and interest, and we must never give up🚀
There’s an estimated 3 billion gamers out there in some shape or form, we outnumber and overpower any corporations.
We are the customers, we hold the money and voting with our wallets and voices are our very basic rights.
So #SaveMassEffect
Save physical media and digital ownership
Demand what’s in YOUR best interest, without worrying about profitability, trends, and whatever BS stories they tried to sell you to take more money from and sell you low quality games
