This weekend marks 85 years since the January 1941 Blitz, the most devastating raid Portsmouth faced during WWII. 172 people were killed and hundreds more injured or made homeless during the attack which saw thousands of bombs.

Last night we welcomed 'Bombweed' author Gillian Fernandez Morton to the museum.
We recorded the talk and will share snippets over the next few weeks for those who couldn't make it.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of D-Day veteran Jim Grant at the age of 101.
Jim was one of the veterans to feature in 'The Lucky Ones Grow Old' portrait exhibition.
Our thoughts go out to his friends and family. Rest in peace.
