A manhunt has been launched for two Bangladeshi men after a girl was lured to a park and raped.
An investigation was first launched on August 1 2024, after cops received reports that a 13-year-old girl had been raped in Bethnal Green, London.
Showkoth Ahmed, 31, from Bangladesh, is believed to still be in the UK and has links to Tower Hamlets.
Jahidul Hassan Jaigirdar, 34, from Bangladesh, also has links to Tower Hamlets and is believed to have travelled to Bangladesh.
A £10,000 reward has been offered through the charity Crimestoppers for information.

Showkoth Ahmed, 31, and Jahidul Hassan Jaigirdar, 34, are wanted after the girl was approached on Whitechapel Road and assaulted on 1 August 2024.
A £10,000 reward has been offered for information.
The girl’s parents said the attack has left her living in fear.

The attack happened around 11.30pm on 1 August 2024. The girl said two men approached her on Whitechapel Road and led her into the park. A member of the public later found her.

As we all know this is not a one-off. Grooming and sexual violence against young British girls keeps happening in the same places, by men from the same communities, while authorities tiptoe around it for fear of “racism”.

The Met has named them: Showkoth Ahmed, 31, and Jahidul Hassan Jaigirdar, 34. Both from Bangladesh. Both with links to Tower Hamlets.
And here's the part that makes your blood run cold. Both are believed to have fled the very day the appeal went out in September. Ahmed is thought to still be in this country. Jaigirdar is thought to be in Bangladesh.
Two years of CCTV, forensics and appeals. Then the moment their faces go public, they're gone. One of them probably round the corner from you. The other sitting in another country, out of reach, laughing.
Her family say she still lives in fear. Thirteen years old, and two years on she still lives in fear.

Around 60 men from RAF Wethersfield gathered at Braintree bus station today, waiting to be transported back to the asylum centre after attending the Care4Calais event in town.
Serious allegations were made during the afternoon, including reports of a migrant filming children and an attempted attack on a female Operation Vanguard officer.
Members of the community and local shop owners were understandably furious, and the police were called.
But it didn't end there.
As members of the public stood at the bus stop, a man on the bus reportedly struck a woman's phone out of her hand.
And what happened next?
Police closed the bus doors, and the men were allowed to travel back to RAF Wethersfield.
No arrests were witnessed at the scene.
Braintree residents, women, children and local businesses have every right to feel safe in their own town.

Her name was Barbara, a 24-year-old French girl.
She was found dead in her apartment in Avignon, completely naked from the waist down, with clear signs of beating on her face and a dislocated finger.
The man arrested for her murder is Fouad Laazar, a Moroccan immigrant with 17 prior convictions. He was caught in the Netherlands thanks to a European arrest warrant.
His record includes weapons possession, death threats, aggravated violence, kidnapping, kidnapping involving torture and barbaric acts, driving without a license, and drug trafficking.
Barbara’s sister said:

A 19-year-old Eritrean migrant, Musa Salih, has been convicted of murdering 19-year-old Harley Purdue after stabbing him eight times during a failed robbery attempt in Chatham, Kent, England.
Salih lured Purdue into a communal basement, intending to lock him inside a toilet before stealing money from his bedroom.
However, when Purdue resisted being trapped, a violent confrontation erupted. Salih repeatedly stabbed the teenager eight times, inflicting fatal injuries.
Purdue's girlfriend attempted to intervene, but Salih also tried to injure her before fleeing the property and escaping the Medway area.
