Leveraging Public-Private Capital for Conservation: G7 Nature and People Finance Alliance Presented at CBD COP 17:
At the UN Biodiversity Conference in Yerevan, Armenia, the ICCF Group was proud to join the Government of France and the Rob Walton Foundation in presenting the G7 Nature & People Finance Alliance and the first project it will support: the Africa Keystone Protected Area Partnership.
Launched by France under its G7 Presidency, with support from the ICCF Group, the Alliance has one mission: to protect nature by matching and mobilizing public and private capital for conservation at scale. Some of the Alliance members have pledged to support projects and protected areas within the Keystone Partnership, an effort to protect 162 of Africa's most irreplaceable protected areas by 2035.
