🚨 VATICAN REAFFIRMS “IRREVOCABLE” COVENANT WITH JEWISH PEOPLE
The Vatican issued a major new note marking 60 years of Nostra Aetate, emphasizing the unique theological relationship between Christianity and Judaism and the Church’s continuing fight against antisemitism.
The document declares: “God’s covenant with the Jewish people is irrevocable” and says Jewish-Christian dialogue is not merely diplomatic or secondary, but connected to Christianity’s own identity. It reiterates that the Church “decries hatred, persecutions, displays of anti-Semitism, directed against Jews at any time and by anyone.”
The note also recalls Pope Leo XIV’s teaching that “all Christians have a special relationship with Judaism” because of Christianity’s Jewish roots, adding that theological dialogue between Christians and Jews “remains ever important and close to my heart.”
The Vatican stresses that interreligious dialogue does not mean abandoning Christian doctrine: it must avoid “relativism and syncretism” while combining firm religious identity with genuine openness to others.

And the universal law of war is true for all nations, that if you are suddenly attacked, that you can take and keep land from the ambusher, if you defeat them in war. If you fight back against the one that surprise attacks you, you can take and keep their land. If you have a adjust caused by a war, you can take and keep the land that you conquer. This is how America gained all the western territory from Mexico, in the Mexican-American war. If China invaded India, India would have the right to fight back and take land, and vice-versa.
