The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked and unjustifiable.
Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war.
This is the behaviour of rogue states — and they have jeopardised the safety of humankind around the world with this catastrophic act of aggression.
Our government must condemn this flagrant breach of international law, and urgently pursue a foreign policy based on justice, sovereignty and peace.

⏰ 24 hours to go.
This moment can make or break the future of @thisisyourparty . It’s about leadership, direction, and the kind of politics we believe in.
Stand with @jeremycorbyn and support the @TheManyYP team for CEC.
This platform is based on three key pillars:
First, building our base.
Politics doesn’t live in Westminster, it lives in our communities. If we want to win, we have to organise in working-class neighbourhoods, strengthen local branches, support workplace organising, and develop new leaders rooted in the struggles of everyday people. A mass party cannot exist on paper; it must be active, visible, and accountable on the ground.
Second, reuniting our multiracial coalition.
Our strength has always come from solidarity across communities. We will focus on what unites us, decent jobs, safe housing, properly funded public services, and dignity for all — rather than allowing division to weaken us. That means rebuilding trust where it has been damaged, including among Muslim communities and others who feel alienated from the left. Unity is not about pretending differences don’t exist; it’s about committing to stand together anyway.
Third, winning people to our politics.
We do that by campaigning relentlessly on the issues that shape people’s daily lives: the cost-of-living crisis, stagnant wages, soaring rents, crumbling services, racism, and endless war. We meet people where they are. We listen. We organise. And we show, through action, that politics can improve their lives.
@thisisyourparty platform exists because this party has to succeed. Not for internal debates. Not for factional victories. But because millions of people are looking for hope, for representation, for a movement that fights for them without apology.
If we organise seriously, rebuild trust, and speak clearly to the real concerns of working people, we can do more than win arguments, we can win the future.
The task is urgent. The moment is here. Let’s build. Please vote for London CEC Tahir Mirza as your first choice alongside Noor Jahan Begum
