🚨LATEST: Binance hackers are using NEVER SEEN BEFORE laundering patterns as stolen funds are being rapidly circulated through thousands of transactions, per Chainalysis.
Instead of moving funds along a straightforward trail, the attackers repeatedly send them between wallets, including back to addresses used earlier.
The speed and repeated patterns suggest automation designed to obscure the money trail.
Binance’s Richard Teng says the attackers used a “self-destruct mechanism” to destroy tools and traces during the intrusion.
Early findings from Elliptic showed almost NONE of the stolen funds had reached mixers, bridges or exchanges, making the unusual wallet movements particularly striking.
They also rushed to swap freezeable stablecoins into assets such as ETH and move funds between addresses before blacklists could catch up. These efforts were only partly successful.
The tactics complicate tracing and recovery, but they do not make the stolen funds invisible.

one difficult moment doesn't define an entire journey.
what matters is the response, the transparency, and the commitment to users.

18 Years of Bitcoin. 18 Years of Challenging the System.
On October 31, 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto introduced an idea that would change the world of finance forever.
A simple whitepaper. A revolutionary vision. A financial system built on decentralization, transparency, and trustless verification.
18 years later, Bitcoin is no longer just an experiment. It's a global financial movement.
- No central authority.
- No permission required.
- A fixed supply of 21 million BTC.
- A network secured by mathematics, cryptography, and consensus.
Governments are now paying attention. Institutions are embracing it. Millions are building around it.
Yet the most powerful part remains unchanged, Bitcoin doesn't ask you to trust. It allows you to verify.
Satoshi may have disappeared, but the vision continues to run every single day.
18 years ago, it was just a whitepaper. Today, it's a revolution that cannot be switched off.
Happy Bitcoin Whitepaper Anniversary! 🧡

18 years ago today, a stranger changed money forever.
On October 31, 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto sent a 9-page paper to a cryptography mailing list with an idea and a name nobody had heard before: "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System."
Two months later, Satoshi mined the very first block and hid a London Times headline inside of it about banks on the brink of a second bailout. Days later, the first transaction on Bitcoin took place, with 10 BTC moving from Satoshi to Hal Finney.
By 2010, Bitcoin was real enough that Laszlo Hanyecz traded 10,000 of them for two pizzas.
And then Satoshi started to fade. The forum posts stopped in December 2010, and in April 2011, one last email said "moved on to other things."
Since then, $BTC has grown far beyond what anyone could have imagined, even without its creator.
It survived four halvings, became legal tender in El Salvador, Wall Street got spot ETFs, the US government created a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, and in October 2025, it touched an all-time high of $126,198.
Happy 18th Birthday, Bitcoin! 🎂🧡

If I were the Financial Industrial Complex (FIC), and my objective was to maximise portfolio value for asset managers like BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, here’s the strategy I’d consider.
1. FIC — The custody model
Launch Bitcoin ETFs, finance Bitcoin treasury companies and encourage the migration of Bitcoin from self-custody into institutional custody.
2. Military Industrial Complex (MIC) — The covert operations model
Use intelligence and cyber capabilities to conduct or exploit covert operations, creating uncertainty around the security of self-custody and exchanges outside FIC control.
3. Technical Industrial Complex (TIC) — The revenue model
Supply the AI, software and cybersecurity infrastructure used by both attackers and defenders.
Fuel an AI-driven cybersecurity arms race where every new attack creates demand for more expensive defences.
4. FIC — The endgame
Use the growing fear of hacks to promote institutional custody as the safer alternative.
More cybersecurity spending for TIC.
More security budgets for MIC.
More Bitcoin under institutional custody for FIC.
The attack creates the fear.
The defence generates the revenue.
The custody concentrates the control.
That’s how the incentives could align.
It doesn’t establish who conducted any particular hack or prove these institutions are coordinating them.
But it’s a useful framework for asking who benefits.
Follow the money.
Follow the custody.
Follow the control.

We got flying cars, now it's time we get a modern financial system.
Let me Coinbase-pill you for a minute. Financial services is a massive industry. All fintech companies combined capture about 4% of total global financial-services revenues, while traditional financial-services companies account for the remaining ~96%.
Yet the financial services industry is going through two massive technological shifts right now with crypto and AI. This is our opportunity, and the transformation is happening fast.
Crypto is replacing the rails: stablecoins let anyone move money anywhere, instantly and almost free; tokenization lets anyone own any asset; and onchain markets let them trade it around the clock.
AI is replacing the interface: agents will increasingly research, decide, execute, and pay on behalf of people and businesses, putting a capable financial expert in everyone's pocket that can act for you, not just advise you. Together they can give every person and business the financial power that used to belong to a few. Coinbase exists to make that happen in a way people can trust.
Coinbase is using these frontier technologies to build the best modern financial account. Crypto rails, AI interface. Trading, payments, saving, borrowing, etc all in one.
We just released our Q3 earnings, and we set product records across the board despite the tough market. And I’m seeing signs that the market is turning.
Some Q3 highlights:
- We store more crypto than anyone in the world
- We have a global regulatory foundation with 80+ licenses
- 14th consecutive ATH of average USDC in CB products
- 5th consecutive ATH in CB1 subs
Best of all, the everything exchange is working. The progress since we announced last year has been awesome:
- 4th quarter of crypto trading volume market share gains, nearly doubled since this time last year
- $200M+ annualized revenue from prediction markets in Q3, one of our fastest growing products by revenue in history! With >60% daily trader growth QoQ
Jobs not finished until the entire financial system is updated with these frontier technologies.

Brother, I know you love us, and always support us, but you’re over-interpreting this, in a bad way.
I never said “selling SPCX shares”. I mentioned we have them only because the FTX comparison in the thread may have implied we lacked funds, which is not true. My point was that we hold assets outside of crypto, even in an area familiar to him.
I don’t make threats. That’s one of my core principles I even wrote in my book. Also, our holdings is a drop in the ocean for them. No threats possible. And I think it will be one of the best stocks to hold for a long time to come.
No need to pitch it as a fight or try to drive a wedge. Got enough problems to handle with as it is. 🤣

‼️ Picking up a Telegram voice call was enough to let an attacker run code on an Android phone, NebuSec says.
It says its GPT-5.4 tool found the flaw, which hit every Android version from March 2022 until 12.10.4 in late September.
Telegram's iOS app got the same fix in May.

We're making some big upgrades to our 'on a call' protections to keep users safe from scam calls. Scammers often try to stay on the phone while coaching victims through settings changes, IDV, asset conversion, and transfers. We expanded the original on-a-call warnings across a bunch of high-risk app surfaces to warn when Coinbase is not on the call.

Blame is going to Ethereum
EIP-7702 lets an Externally Owned Account (EOA) permanently delegate its code to an existing smart contract. After delegation, any call to the EOA executes the delegate contract’s code in the EOA’s own context (same address, storage, and balance), while the EOA’s private key keeps full control.

claude code just traced the $5.57 billion binance hack to an address inside binance and a relay node in pyongyang. this wasn't a hack. and binance hasn't said one word about it
yesterday i posted how grok bot pulled my $107,000 out of binance 12 minutes before the freeze. 125k people saw it and everyone asked the same thing. who did this
binance won't tell you. so at 1am i gave claude code one prompt and the public on-chain data, with no api keys and no insider access
1:04am. claude pulls 47,832 transactions across eth, btc and tron and finds 47 wallets in one attacker cluster
1:11am. the terminal goes red. "match found"
the wallet that paid the attacker's gas was funded 48 hours before the hack. first tornado cash, then one 0.001 eth test transaction from an address tagged binance internal deployer. binance's own deployer paid for the attacker's gas two days early
1:17am. claude replays the drain. binance 14 first, $2.13 billion. hot wallet 34 second, $780 million. then the reserve pools, in the exact order of binance's internal balance registry. that list isn't public. someone handed it over
the drain also started 79 seconds before a scheduled key rotation, so whoever did this knew the schedule
1:24am. claude follows the exploit contract back to its source. three separate signals point to the same node in pyongyang
bytecode matches the bybit hack at 98.4%. claude's attribution is lazarus group with 97.3% confidence
so ask yourself why binance hasn't explained how north korea knew its internal registry and its key rotation schedule
claude thinks someone inside gave lazarus the keys and the map, and lazarus walked in
every claim is marked confirmed or inferred and comes with a tx hash. claude refused to name the insider
what i did before sunrise:
> sent the evidence package to FBI IC3
> flagged all 51 attacker wallets to the exchanges
> 2 deposit addresses frozen by morning. $60 million that isn't making it to north korea
my wife found me at 3am again. she looked at the red dot on the globe and asked if that was north korea. i said yes. she didn't go back to sleep either
if your money is on an exchange, all it takes is one person on the inside
the exact prompt that did all of this is in the comments. it's free. run it before the next one hits
