We should have more politicians like this who care more about the individuals rather than an agenda
Q: Are you the one who’s going to turn Texas blue?
@JamesTalarico: I’m not interested in turning Texas blue. I wanna win this seat so that I can fight for all 31 million Texans — whether they’re Democrats, independents, or Republicans.
My party talks about turning Texas blue a lot. Republicans talk about keeping Texas red. I think the best color for Texas is purple.
When you have a purple state and competitive elections, it forces every politician in both parties to stay on their toes. My hope in this race is that we can end 30 years of one-party rule and get competitive elections back in Texas so politicians are actually solving problems.
Been playing a lot of Call of Duty MW4 since it released last week and here are my thoughts as a historically strong COD hater:
It’s fun. Really, really fun.
Also people complaint about skill based matchmaking are either bots or mad they can’t gatekeep casuals who have jobs
On the day a sitting president landed in Lubbock, Texas, for the first time in 34 years, people waited for hours in lines stretching for blocks in this reliably red city. But the crowd wasn't waiting for President Trump. They were waiting for Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

NEW: The NCAA tells us ZERO trans student-athletes are now competing in women's sports.
Why does 15% of America think there are tens of THOUSANDS?

Gonna have to explain to my kids what the NBA used to be like the same way we gotta explain what Blockbuster and VHS tapes used to be
The NBA is formally stepping into the prediction markets ecosystem.
The league announced agreements Monday morning with Kalshi and Polymarket that will allow the companies to use official league data and intellectual property and give the league control over what trades the companies are allowed to offer.

Darius Acuff Jr. has arrived 😤
33 PTS for the rook 🔥
Acuff's 33 points are the most by a rookie so far this season 👀
I can’t imagine being a rookie in the league, getting schooled by the league’s current best player on debut night, playing the most minutes on your team only to put up 12 points, and then talking crap like you’re an expert. He admits to only watching highlights too. NBA brainrot
Yaxel Lenderborg on his NBA debut and guarding Luka: "I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me... Being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect. That was awful"

"Yeah, it was interesting. I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me, for sure.
I had a lot of respect for him (Luka). You know, just watching. I didn't really watch the NBA much, I just watched highlights. Seeing him, you know, kill people all the time. But then being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect, man. Like that was awful.
Like me getting frustrated, it's not about the foul being called, it's about him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul call, congratulations bro. And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro? Come on, dog. That's just weak. It kinda threw me off for a little while, cause you know, like I said, I had so much respect for him. Gone man, gone.
I was telling him he sucks, he can't score on me. You talking and you can't score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that's why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know, because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call.
His only bucket on me was a banker from half court. Like I know that it's a team sport. You know, he had 28pts on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked, probably would've still got a foul call."
