USC HC Lincoln Riley Made a PUZZLING Statement about the Trojans’ Run Game 🤨 USC head coach Lincoln Riley met with the local media on Tuesday ahead of the Trojans’ matchup against Ohio State this weekend, and made a statement that many fans are questioning. Riley was asked about some final takeaways from the Trojans’ 24-7 loss at Wisconsin in Week 8, and talked about the run game in his answer. “We did some really good things in the run game,” said Riley. Keep in mind, USC rushed for -17 yards. Wisconsin shut down the Trojans offense, and won by double digits despite only posting 200 yards. USC quarterback Jayden Maiava was sacked five times for -57 yards, but even despite the sack yards being removed: the Trojans marched for just 40 yards on 20 carries. So regardless, “good things” in the run game is a bit of a stretch. Riley’s seat continues to get warmer as the results continue to fall short, especially on the road, and his team is now officially in win or go home mode the rest of the way to make the College Football Playoff. The Trojans host No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday, and will look to earn a potential job-saving win over one of the nation’s best teams. Kickoff between the Trojans and Buckeyes is scheduled for 7:30PM ET on NBC this Saturday. Even if USC earns a win over the Buckeyes, a road trip to No. 4 Indiana is in store after their bye week. Tennessee Football’s DARK MODE is Anticipated to Return in Week 10 ⚫️🤯 Tennessee Football’s fan favorite game theme, “Dark Mode,” is anticipated to return when the Vols host No. 9 Kentucky during Week 10 on November 7. The Vols and Wildcats were slated for a 6:15PM ET Kickoff on ESPN during the Week 10 TV scheduling announcements on Monday. The Big Orange first wore black uniforms on October 31, 2009 vs. South Carolina, a surprise to everyone in attendance, but made the black threads and official uniform in 2021. UT first introduced the black helmets in 2022 versus Kentucky, and a “Dark Mode” night in Neyland Stadium has since become a college football spectacle. Tennessee is 5-2 overall when wearing black, and are 3-1 in official “Dark Mode” night games since the 2022 season. The Vols defeated Kentucky in 2022 and 2024 when wearing all black, and the highly-anticipated 2026 version of the matchup is expected to feature the Vols’ new adidas blackout look. Arkansas Football Fans Online are Encouraging Their Peers to Blackout DWR on Saturday 🤯⚫️ Arkansas fans online are encouraging fellow Razorbacks to wear black for Saturday night’s meet up with No. 23 Missouri. Barstool Hogs shared a graphic of an all black mockup up Donald W. Reynolds Stadium, and it could be a good idea with the game taking place on Halloween. Some fans have rebuttaled that wearing the color of the away team, Mizzou, isn’t a good idea. Razorbacks fans have previously gone viral for trying to retaliate against the program already this season, but this feels like an honest rallying cry. Rumors are also swirling that the Hogs could wear an all-black uniform, which was debuted in the Spring Game by the quarterbacks. First-year Arkansas head coach Ryan Silverfield stated in May that he did not anticipate rolling out an alternate uniform this season, but did leave the door open for new styles down the road. Arkansas fans may have to blackout anyways just to enjoy their team after a disappointing 3-4 start to the 2026 season. The Hogs and Tigers have met each season since 2014 with Missouri winning 10 of the last 12 matchups, and are 4-2 in Fayetteville. Should Arkansas fans blackout DWR on Saturday?🤔

Arizona State HC Kenny Dillingham had NO COMMENT when asked about QB Cutter Boley 😬 Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham gave a quick “no comment” to reporters when asked how quarterback Cutter Boley is taking getting benched. This adds to a long list of worries and concerns that Sun Devils fans have about this season, and where this team is currently. Boley was a four-star, top-150 player in the portal this offseason, but has failed to live up to expectations this year. The Sun Devils slinger has been night and day against Power 4 opponents and non-Power 4 squads. Cutter Boley this season at Arizona State: VS. Non-P4 Teams: 288 YPG, 72.4% Comp %, 8 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions The 6-foot-5, 220-pound slinger spent two years at Kentucky before joining the Sun Devils, but has struggled vs. in the real opportunities. Dillingham has turned to three quarterbacks in total this season, and former UCF, Fresno State, and Michigan transfer quarterback Mikey Keene is set to start at No. 8 BYU on Saturday. If he is not able to go, true freshman Jake Fette will go, per Dillingham. Boley, a Hodgenville, Kentucky native, tossed for 2,160 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions on 66% passing while playing in the SEC in 2025, but now may be looking for his third home in three seasons after this year winds down. Students that wish to win are required to attend the Illinois game on Saturday and scan a QR code before a winner is named during the 4th quarter. The tuition credit is set to the in-state tuition rate of around $8,000. Alabama and LSU Will Meet for the FINAL Time as an Annual Matchup in Week 10 😳 November 7th will mark the final time Alabama and LSU is played as an annual game, despite the two teams meeting each season since 1963. The Tide and the Tigers will not meet during the 2027 season due to the SEC’s new nine-game conference schedule. Beginning this season, the conference switched from an eight-game schedule to nine games with each school playing three annual opponents. Alabama’s annual opponents were slated as Auburn, Tennessee, and Mississippi State, while LSU received Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M. Each team’s remaining six games flip flop every other year, meaning that one of the conference’s best annual games is set to disappear. The Tide will travel to Baton Rouge during Week 10, while the Tigers won’t return the favor in Tuscaloosa until the 2028 season. To further contextualize things, Alabama may not return to Death Valley again until at least the 2030 season. The SEC mapped out the 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029 seasons this offseason, but has yet to release what things look like starting in 2030. Oregon QB Dante Moore’s Career in Eugene is Likely Coming to a Close 🤯 Oregon quarterback Dante Moore’s career in Eugene may be coming to a close, as there is an increased likelihood that he calls it a season. Moore has not played since September 26 after sustaining a concussion at USC, and the Ducks have since fallen to 4-3 and out of the College Football Playoff race. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound slinger returned to Oregon this season despite being the projected No. 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Detroit, Michigan native tossed for 926 yards, 9 touchdowns, and zero interceptions while completing 69.7% of his passes in four games this season. The former five-star recruit began his career at UCLA before spending three seasons in Eugene, and led the Ducks to a College Football Playoff Semifinals run in 2025. Illinois defeated Oregon 21-10 on Saturday, and the Ducks have since fired offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer after less than a year on the job. The Ducks will likely have an audition for 2027’s QB1 the rest of the way with former five-star recruit and Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola and Eugene native Brock Thomas gunning for the job.
