The Philadelphia Union were DEAD LAST in MLS heading into the World Cup break. They fired Bradley Carnell, handed the team to Ryan Richter, brought Kai Wagner back from Birmingham City and welcomed Neil Pierre back from loan. They didn’t go out and completely rebuild the roster. Since MLS returned, Philadelphia are 8-0-2 and unbeaten in 10 straight. 🤯 And right in the middle of this turnaround has been 16-year-old Cavan Sullivan. He’s gone from needing more minutes to becoming one of the most important players on the team. He’s creating chances, scoring goals, setting up teammates and completely changing games. Philadelphia went from the worst team in MLS to legitimate playoff contention, and I don’t think this turnaround happens without Cavan Sullivan. At this point, he’s not just a great young player. Cavan Sullivan is 100% an MLS MVP candidate. 🇺🇸⭐️
