Update: We're going with the $59K Cybertruck and canceling the Model YL reservation
Tip if you're switching orders: Tesla Support told me over the phone to call my local Tesla store. They cancelled the YL and moved my deposit straight over to the Cybertruck, so I didn't lose the $250
Now the wait for the $59K Cybertruck continues
Did we make the right decision?
Ohio and Virginia owners have never been able to earn Tesla referral credit on vehicles because of state dealer licensing laws. Tesla's new FSD referral program, effective today, doesn't exclude either state since it’s a subscription service.
For anyone who has a Tesla and wants to try FSD for free for a month, here is my link to do so:
Get a free month of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) when you use my link. tesla.com/get-app/referral?c…
Open your app for a new referral program for Tesla FSD. Refer an existing Tesla owner to the FSD program. If they subscribe during their trial, you get a month complimentary of FSD. Potential $1,200 savings with this program. Pretty cool stuff.

A lot of people are buying Teslas because “they don’t want to drive anymore”
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone say that. The world is changing!
Getting older and witnessing people you grew up watching on television pass away is much more difficult than I anticipated. RIP Captain Picard
$TSLA closed at $403.30, down only 0.2% on a day the Nasdaq dropped about 1.4%. Still holding above $400 after the Barclays upgrade to Overweight with a $450 target and all the SpaceX merger talk. Stock is up about 13% in the past month, which is huge imo
Her apology after shitting on the entire gym
Hyrox athlete apologizes for pooping all over the floor during a competition in China.
24-year-old Joanna Wietrzyk had explosive diarrhea during a Hyrox competition, which smeared on equipment and caused athletes to slip and fall.
Instead of taking herself out of the race, Wietrzyk decided to stay in the competition. She boasted about her win after the race, but she later deleted the post.
"Go hard or go home, they say ... a win is a win," she said at the time.
Wietrzyk now admits that finishing a race with poop streaming down your leg and making other athletes run through your diarrhea stench is probably not respectful to the other athletes.
The part that is crazy about Neuralink, and maybe I’m in the minority, is Elon and his teams are doing so many amazing things that I often forget about Neuralink and the Boring Co.
Kenneth answered his own phone call for the first time using Neuralink, and you can see just how happy he was to be talking to his wife Cheryl
Kenneth has ALS, and until now, his wife Cheryl had to interpret for him whenever he took a phone call
So the Neuralink team built a system to give him back that independence:
• His intended speech is decoded from brain signals into words
• The Speech app sends his synthesized voice directly into the call
• Kenneth hears his own words without creating an echo
And now Kenneth is able to have a phone conversation with Cheryl himself
For most people, that's just an ordinary phone conversation. But for Kenneth, it's an extraordinary moment of independence
Neuralink isn't just restoring communication. It's giving people back the freedom to communicate and the everyday moments with loved ones that mean everything

Ok can someone explain this to me like I’m a 10 year old? Is this connected to X; like XCreators or XMoney, or separate. How does this work?

Trick-or-Treat in the neighborhood is tonight. Do I park my Tesla in the driveway and leave the Halloween spooky music playing?
Not to mention, if your credit is lower than 720 you take a serious hit. Next tier the rate jumps to 8.09%. Tesla is flirting with the 10% rate category which is the “get out of jail free” rate. (They refund the deposit if you choose not to buy)
Elon Musk when his back is against the wall and he has to save 2 future Trillion Dollar Companies from failing
In 2008, Elon Musk faced a decision that would have broken most people
Two companies he had poured his heart, soul, and everything he had into were on the brink of collapse. He had just $30 to $40 million left, and saving one meant risking the life of the other
He was forced to confront an almost impossible question: Which of the two dreams he had sacrificed so much to build was he willing to let die?
His answer was neither
Even if it meant risking everything he had left
Tesla and SpaceX were both fighting for survival, and he had to make one of the hardest choices of his life
"I had two choices. I could put it all into one company, and then the other company would definitely die. Or split it between the two companies. But if I split it between the two companies, then both might die"
Then Elon said something that tells you everything about how much these companies meant to him:
"When you put your blood, sweat, and tears into creating something or building something, it's like a child. And so it's like which one am I gonna let starve to death? I couldn't bring myself to do it"
He split the money between both companies, knowing he was risking losing everything
"Fortunately, thank goodness, they both came through"
Nearly two decades later, Tesla has transformed the electric vehicle industry, and SpaceX has revolutionized spaceflight
Two companies that were on the brink of collapse went on to change the world
All because Elon Musk couldn't bring himself to let either one starve
Elon says “if what they're saying is true, you won't need to save for retirement.” That goes against everything we've been taught. Save more. Build a nest egg. Retire early. I'm not betting against Elon, but I really would like to know more on this one.
Whenever I see people hitting max usage of their Grok @bot while mine hovers at 10% just proves to me I’m wildly underutilizing my Bot.
