Why is there suddenly running gun wars and taxi violence in the townships of the City of Cape Town, a week before elections, when the DA is expected to drop below 50% and lose its majority?
Who stands to benefit from a volatile situation in the Cape Flats, a Cape Flats which is disillusioned with the DA, 5-days before elections?
It is incredibly uncomfortable timing, violence like this will undoubtedly affect voter turnout in these areas. Why now?

Barcelona are now closing a section of their own stadium as a precaution, fearing further sanctions because of their fans’ repeated aggressive behaviour.
Remember, the club already faced disciplinary proceedings over incidents during El Clásico, including a fan striking Camavinga with a flagpole.
