🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨: South Carolina is expected to hire Coastal Carolina Head Coach, Kevin Schnall to take over the baseball program, per @jcshurburtt of @TheBigSpurOn3. Schnall took the Chanticleers to a CWS final in his first year as the head coach of the program (2025) with a 56-13 overall record and in 2026 he went 37-23 and played in the Tallahassee regional. While there may be some questions around his recruiting, he is one of the best x&o’s coaches in the country along with being one of the best developers in the country and seems to get the most out of his players. This is a massive win for the Gamecocks. A new era in Gamecock Baseball begins very soon!!!

Good read here. Jacks great and spent a lot of time on this. I’ll have something similar out after all the scrimmages wrap.
