I didn't ask for AI. I don't want AI. Why are our resources being placed in the hands of the rat from Flushed Away?
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says it’s “quite terrible” that people have so much DRAM sitting in their own PCs instead of being used in data centers.
“Everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer. And be used 5% of the time,”
He argues that cloud data centers should make better use of limited memory supplies instead of people running AI models locally.
I do like how frank he is but how often can you publicly dig out the players before you're in "John Carver accusing Mike Williamson of getting sent off on purpose" territory?
🗣️ Asked Matthias Jaissle how much of tonight’s result was down to individual mistakes.
“What do you think?” 🤔 #NUFC
Edward John Frank Howe left of his own accord. He did not want the job anymore. Get over him.
Every single one of you that wanted Eddie out, you deserve this shite. He was the best thing that happened to our club in a long time and gave us some of the best memories in our clubs history. We now get battered by teams like Coventry and Everton. Clowns 🤡 #nufc
I actually quite like Everton, proper club and fans who have put up with a lot. Strange how personally they've taken the Pickford thing.

To be fair to Jaissle this is vertical football because it’s driving me up the fucking wall #NUFC
Elon Musk has royally fucked this app why do I have to be subjected to engagement baiting glory supporters making up fake quotes from a referee?
🚨 BREAKING: MICHAEL SALISBURY ISSUES PUBLIC APOLOGY TO ARSENAL FANS 😳💔
🗣️ Michael Salisbury:
“Yesterday, I made a serious mistake. I wrongly sent off Max Dowman, a 17-year-old, during the match between Arsenal and Fleetwood Town.
After reviewing the incident, I recognise that my decision was incorrect. I failed to see the full picture in the heat of the moment, and I take full responsibility for my actions.
Max is only 17 years old, with a bright future ahead of him. I understand the disappointment this decision has caused him, his teammates, Arsenal Football Club, and millions of fans.
It was never my intention to unfairly punish a young player, but I understand that intentions do not erase the consequences of my decisions.
I sincerely apologise to Max Dowman, Arsenal, and everyone affected by my mistake.
As a referee, I am expected to make the right decisions, and today, I fell short of that responsibility. I will learn from this experience and work to ensure such an error does not happen again.
I am truly sorry.”
— Michael Salisbury, Referee
"He and other flair players need to be protected" why exactly? What makes them more in need of protection than any other player with legs? It was a perfectly fine tackle too.
The delight with which people reacted to 16 year old Max Dowman's red card is a bit uncomfortable.
Yes he shouldn't react like that, and I'm sure other sides will be looking to push him when he's back...
But the challenge from Harrison Neal is a really nasty one, and speaks to Dowman's quality. He and other flair players need to be protected.
I'm not arsed about defending Eddie Howe but the social media campaign this bloke has waged against him in the last few days is a disgrace. It's a new tweet every hour.
I really do hope Eddie Howe goes to Man United, as that means they will have zero chance of signing Lewis Hall
