I’m still scratching my head over this. How have we let Israel openly start building settlements in southern Lebanon, the Golan Heights and more of the West Bank, while pushing the yellow line further into Gaza, and all we’ve done is let it happen and keep giving them more support? Are we ALL for real right now?

Lina Attalah has been released from custody several hours after she was convicted of operating an unlicensed website & forced to pay a EGP 3 million fine. The court also ordered the closure of Mada Masr. A pillar of independent journalism in the Arab world is in danger of closing

Today’s decision represents a crushing blow to press freedom in Egypt and marks a dark day for independent journalism in the country.
By imposing a 3 million EGP fine, ordering the closure of Mada Masr and the seizure of its property, and detaining Lina Atallah until payment is made, the Egyptian authorities are sending a clear and ruthless message: critical, independent reporting will not be tolerated.

Lebanon is being destroyed. My homeland is being destroyed. Our people are being genocided.
Lebanon is the second most-documented genocide in history after Gaza, yet the most denied by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights after Gaza.

The most immoral army continues to slaughter children. Nearly daily.
UN bodies and human rights groups have documented the pattern in detail. Anyone who denies it should read these reports.
We keep receipts and there will be accountability.

🇯🇴🇸🇾 Jordan bombed Syria over a church attack blamed on its own citizens.
Last week, gunmen attacked a church in Jordan during a funeral and killed 9 people.
Police arrested 3 suspects yesterday, and all of them turned out to be Jordanian, with officials saying they didn’t belong to any group.
Jordan still sent its jets to strike targets in Syria that same day, calling it revenge for the attack but not saying who it hit.
Syria’s state TV now says there are reports of civilian casualties.
So if the suspects are Jordanians who acted alone, who exactly were Jordan’s jets hitting in Syria?

Many people don’t realize how deeply Muslims and Christians live in Jordan. It’s a truly unique model of co-existence. In Karak, the lines between Christian and Muslim communities are practically invisible… they are united by generations of unity and shared history. Those trying to sow sectarian hatred and division in Jordan are playing a dangerous game. Jordan has no place for this poison,
We know, though, who is behind these sinister plots.
