Now, THIS is an illegal alien: Euonymus, aka Burning Bush, a beautiful but incredibly invasive, non-native species in many states. I’ve dug up 26 of these in our yard—they were ruining the view—but I’m gonna keep a few, for fun. This thing is 8 feet in diameter!

I LOVE this 1977 song from The Babys, when John Waite was lead singer and bassist: “Isn’t It Time.” Hair, outfits, amazeballs, as is the vocal range it takes to sing this one. Saw them open for Journey when I was about 16.
