We are excited to announce that World Labs is joining @AMD.
The research and technical breakthroughs we have achieved since our founding in 2024 have given us a clear vision for AI’s potential to solve problems in the spatial and physical world.
Accelerating the future of spatial and physical intelligence requires scaling our efforts, scaling our reach, and getting closer to the hardware.

Today we’re sharing an experimental release of Spark Radix, a WebGPU-powered Gaussian splat renderer built on three.js.
Render and explore detailed 3D worlds directly in your browser.

The detail you can get with Atlas 3DGS is so good.
It feels amazing to be able to move all the way around tables without artifacting now. The key is placing frames throughout the scene to get as much coverage from different angles as possible.

Vitre Experiment #6… my favorite one so far!
Same hallway, new portal effect opening onto a completely different world.
Here again, I used Atlas and Marble 2 from @theworldlabs to reimagine the hallway from my original 3D capture. I’m having a lot of fun exploring what these tools can do, and I’m really impressed with the results.
As with my previous experiments, the idea behind Vitre is to make the monitor disappear by aligning a virtual scene with the physical world. And of course… everything is 3DGS, rendered in real time.

Atlas lets you build out large 3D environments starting from a single input image.
You can then define a camera path through the world and generate a video along it.
Here’s how the 3D structure, camera path and final flythrough connect.

new video! making splats move with #sparkjs + #threejs + @theworldlabs marble

covers: splat reveal -> waving leaves -> splat dust -> splat fire -> skinned splavatars
hoping this gives some inspiration for more sparkjs demos! a webgpu sparkjs is also in the works, which will probably necessitate a part 2!

Built a prototype with Atlas API + 8th Wall.
I started with a single image, walked around the point cloud in augmented reality, and used my phone to frame the shot.
Atlas generates the video along my camera path, filling in what the initial image never showed. Result at 0:15

a few space scenes made with atlas. each one started from a single image. atlas generates the video as the camera moves, including the parts of the scene that weren’t in the original image.

Experimenting with Chisel in Atlas beta. We’ve been rolling out beta access to a bunch of users and it’s been really cool seeing what people are building.
@drfeifei will join AMD as an Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist, working directly with CEO Dr. @LisaSu. @jcjohnss and @BenMildenhall will work with Fei-Fei to continue leading the World Labs team as it joins AMD to form a world class frontier research organization, committed to building out an end-to-end open AI ecosystem spanning hardware, software, platforms, and widely accessible open models.

From 32 input images to real-time flight through @nvidia's Voyager headquarters.
Trained on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, Atlas uses these images as 3D spatial context to generate new views, letting you explore with pixel-perfect camera control.
Take a look around.
