Day 9 is the Thrawn: Treason SDCC edition! I got a leftover copy at NYCC one year; I try not to make a habit of buying multiple copies of the same book (THR Phase 1 did me in with the Out of Print editions) but liked this variant too much to pass up when I saw a copy available
I get this is the company line but forgive me for not believing the bajillion dollar conglomerate couldn’t have made both happen if they wanted to
Bloomberg: main factor in BioWare shutdown = EA chose to invest in Star Wars Battlefront III over the new Mass Effect bloomberg.com/news/newslette…
Change of pace today- I was lucky enough to see Godot with my dad back in college and it was an absolute joy watching Patrick and Ian on the stage. I think it was something that we could recognize at the time was special, and is that much more so now.
Day 7! Initially thought I’d probably be very selective in what Black Series I got, but then @johnkatsanakis got me the Wave 1 Sandtrooper for my birthday and I was impressed enough to make the poor decision to go all in on it. I’m still a 3.75 guy at heart but do love both lines

Day 6! Again the exclusive edition, I’ve got Cody’s Phase 1 bucket on display to match Rex. My parents got me this in lieu of giving me any spending money one year back in college lmao. I appreciate Rex and Cody have nice but not insanely large bases, kept the cost down nicely
Day 5! I’ve been mostly priced out of new Sideshow Premium Formats but thankfully already got the exclusive edition of the original (and better IMO) Captain Rex. This is actually the exact one featured in the Rebelscum photo archives, still on display in my childhood bedroom lmao
Two for one today! I met Bobby and Donald at the same event a day or two before Resistance premiered- the trailer with Hype was out but we didn’t have any images of Orka so I printed the most Star Warsy image available for Bobby lmao, he got a kick out of it. Both super nice guys
Day 3! Gentle Giant may no longer exist, and they may have had lots of operational and customer service issues while they did, and when I first bought this the arm was fucked and didn’t display properly, but I love me some pre-cyborg Grievous and when they were on they were ON
Day 2! I’ve always loved Craig Drake’s art (this is one of like 6ish prints I have by him) and when I saw HCG was doing a metal print of this Vader I immediately jumped on it- I actually had purchased a copy of this Vader on paper @ NYCC back in college that’s now with my brother
Reorganizing around the condo with the hope that I could get a bit more of my stuff on display so thought it might be fun to highlight some things I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on over 20+ years of collecting- hopefully this is a fun showcase, and if not, sorry I guess
Rian moderating, we need to get him to Vader Tots
