Purdue offers another 2027 Safety this one going to 3⭐️ Chase Young.
Plays for De La Salle(CA) who is currently 8-0 and #16 in the country.
Young's stats in 8 games:
19 Tckls - 1.0 TFLs - 1.0 Sacks - 2 INTs
8 Rec - 131 Yards - 1 TD
1 KR TD
The biggest thing that stands out with Young is his size and strength. He is a crazy athlete. At 6'3" 190Ibs he is very quick aswell.
At safety he does a great job of not overplaying and is a secure tackler.
BLESSED to receive an offer from Purdue University!!!! @BrandonHuffman @GregBiggins @dlsfootball17 @dlsathletics @MJD @Rivals @247Sports

Northwestern recently offered 3 ⭐️ ATH Chase Young who is in the Class of 2027
I just spent some time watching his film, and I am very impressed with his combo of fluidity + size. I think he has the potential to grow into a big nickel, similar to Rod Heard II.
Stay tuned 👀
