Mr McBrearty's 1st Year A. Technology were introduced to sketching this week by using @ThinkSpatialUL sketching resources. They are excellent and the student's loved the challenge. I would highly recommend checking them out @ettaireland @JCt4ed @technology_4
During the month of January we were proud to host a hugely successful #spatialthinking #seminarseries with some of the most cited researchers in the area sharing their work. Over 150 attendees from across the world participated in the 4 seminars including:

Put this up - ask the students what they notice. A GOLYGON is any polygon with all right angles whose sides are consecutive integer lengths. They will identify the properties for you. I then get them to draw their own version for me. Also useful in area and perimeter classes.
