I didn't know I had so much support, or that so many people noticed the effort I put into helping others have fun and achieve their goals. 6 weeks after my previous post, I finally got a final answer from @Blizzard_Ent's PR team. My community has waited and trusted me through this and deserves the truth, not a vague update. For more than two years, I reported targeted harassment and a clear pattern of uneven treatment. I was never properly told what I was accused of, and I was never given a real chance to respond. During that same period: - Lurkin was banned from Sanctuary Discord and removed from Mobalytics' internal team for repeated targeted conduct. - Roxy leaked DMs I had with her in friendly banter out of context without my consent, while she actively participated in those same conversations. She had warned me that people can take things out of context. Then she did exactly that. - I was excluded from events and playtests, and they called me a "brand risk," while they continued to receive support. - Later on, after many reports, Blizzard acknowledged that I acted well publicly and that it helped lead to Lurkin's removal from Sanctuary and Mobalytics. I also provided them the full context of the DMs. - When I asked why I was not invited to BlizzCon while they were, after what they did, I was told it was probably better if I left the Partner Program. I asked Blizzard for a simple correction of that asymmetry and to restore fair treatment. Here is Blizzard's final position after internal review: - They will continue to support Roxy and Lurkin in the Diablo Partner Program. - They say they did not identify a violation of Partner Program expectations that would warrant action, while I was effectively excluded for around two years under those same expectations. On our call, Blizzard acknowledged that something had gone wrong in how my situation was handled. When I asked for that in writing, the message I received back walked it back, describing it instead as a communication issue they're "working to improve," rather than an acknowledgment that the process itself failed. The two years of unfair treatment still happened either way. - They note that much of the conduct took place in private messages and community spaces Blizzard does not own or moderate, even though they have hosted Q&As in the Sanctuary Discord. Sanctuary itself acknowledged repeated targeted conduct and banned Lurkin. - They offered me a BlizzCon 2026 ticket and media credential, but travel and accommodation would be self-funded. Many smaller Diablo partners have accommodation and tickets covered, some with a +1. Most creators will be staying together while I would not. This was never mainly about the money. It is about whether there's real good faith behind restoring my standing. I was previously told I'd need to be kept separate from the people involved. After everything, walking into that environment is really uncomfortable. - They assigned a new Community Manager contact for a 6-month trial period. - They are not reconsidering the Chinese creators I raised for the Partner Program. In practice, highly active Chinese-linked creators were refused, including English speakers. One example: a creator was asked about her affiliation, I was asked to confirm it, and she was denied after previously being told she could be partnered if she streamed more, which she did. “Full discretion” cannot mean zero accountability. So here is exactly where things stand. - The core issue was not corrected. - The people involved in the repeated targeted conduct pattern remain in the Partner Program. - The asymmetry stands stronger than ever. I still do not have a concrete explanation for why I was treated this way. I am not the only person in the Asian creator community who feels this pattern is hard to ignore.
