What a group. That 2010–12 run was FSU women's XC at its peak: 8 of the program's 15 cross country All-American honors since 2010 came in those three seasons (3, 2, 3). Those 15 are tied for 10th nationally since 2010. Good luck to the Noles at ACCs tomorrow.

Remember this game well, 25 years ago today. Was at Doak for this one, one of the better games that season for sure. FSU defeated the eventual ACC champions 52-31.
Maryland went up 14-0 early, but FSU rallied at Doak and eventually broke a 31-31 tie with 3 TD's in the fourth quarter.
Hell of a win for that team, considering they ceded the ACC title away to Maryland when they lost to North Carolina State in November.
Maryland went to the Orange Bowl and lost to Florida in Spurrier's last game with the Gators.

Fun fact: Allen’s 202 rushing yards was an #FSU single-game record at the time. It lasted one week. Against Western Carolina on Halloween 1981, he ran for 322 yards, which remains the program record today.
