tether froze $1.5 billion in stolen USDT. circle froze $800 million in USDC. everyone's celebrating like the problem is solved
meanwhile the hacker deposited the stolen USDT on aave, borrowed ETH against it, and walked away. because USDT can be frozen. ETH can't
he's never paying it back. he doesn't need to
tether and circle just proved they can freeze billions in seconds. and the hacker just proved that if you know how defi actually works, none of that matters
the freeze saved some of the money. but the smartest money was already gone before anyone pressed the button
$AMZN reports after the close. 4 numbers I'm watching:
1. Net sales vs guidance of $197B to $202B
2. AWS growth vs 37% last quarter
3. Operating income vs $22.5B to $26.5B
4. Capex and free cash flow, with the 2026 plan already raised to about $220B
After $GOOGL, number 4 is the one that moves the stock.

$GOOGL and $MSFT both showed huge AI cloud growth last night.
Google Cloud +103%. Azure +48%.
One stock fell about 10% after hours, the other rose about 3%.
The difference was cash. Alphabet burned $9.1B of free cash flow on $51.4B of capex. Microsoft spent $45.2B and still kept $18.6B.
Growth isn't the test anymore. Paying for it is.

Its partners include $GOOGL, $AMZN and $AVGO. Its compute runs on TPUs, Trainium and $NVDA GPUs.
