Cousins - solid Dobbs - cut after 4 games Mullens - INT machine, cut Hall - bad. cut after 2 games Darnold - mostly good before meltdown McCarthy - traded after 10 games Wentz - bad Brosmer - terrible Murray - looks terrible KOC QB whisperer narrative is absurd

We’re in the 4th quarter and Jones and Mason have 10 carries COMBINED

To all the McCarthy haters out there — you sure we made the right decision moving on? Or maybe…just maybe…our HC isnt who you thought he was

Never thought I’d be calling for Carson Wentz, but here we are. Would prefer KOC to relieve himself from play calling duties but as that will never happen, we need a change at QB. Not fair to the defense to require this kind of dominance from them for the rest of the game

Dont care if the defense gives up 30 in the second half. They are incredible and have done everything possible to hand KOC and the offense a win on a silver platter. One missed opportunity after another for this offense, KOC is the weakest link

The level of patience some fans are willing to have with Kyler Murray, an 8 year vet, after they couldn’t wait for the Vikings to move on from a top 10 pick after 10 games is mind blowing. We gave up the future for a below average 5 foot 9 QB with no chance of being the franchise

Myles price might be the team MVP through 6 games. Dude just brings the juice every single week. Big returns, hidden yards. Love this guy

At this point, I don’t know how you can argue that Kevin O’Connell is a good play caller. Knowing the right play to call in the moment, in the heat of the game is a special talent. He doesn’t have it. Very different than sitting in the office and drawing plays on a white board

@CPUFXRnDMV I like that he’s committing to the run, but it seems so foreign and uncomfortable for him. Not sure if we have anyone on the staff that could do a better job but he’s a liability

Vikings defense looking solid again, minus a big run by Taylor. Early downs are killing the offense…drives stalling after not converting 3rd and long. Anything more predictable than a 2nd and 10 handoff to jones or mason?

KOC’s obsession with going shotgun pass on 3rd and 1 is pathetic. Jones running well today, passing game pathetic and he chooses to throw the ball in that situation AGAIN. He can’t help it. He has got to go as the offensive play caller

Kevin O’Connell needs to give up play calling duties. He’s a solid head coach, but this narrative that he’s some offensive mastermind is absurd. The offense looks completely overwhelmed and confused, again.

Kyler just tossing ducks down the field is hard to watch. This offense’s dependence on Justin Jefferson and explosive plays is concerning

I’ve been adamant the Vikings made the right decision moving on from Darnold. I still think JJ can be a good player, but gotta be able to admit when you’re wrong. Congrats to Sam Darnold - he’s done so much more than I thought he could and he proved me wrong. Happy for the guy!

Maybe this game will make all the Vikings fans that wanted Aaron Rodgers to wake up. Signing him would have only delayed JJs development and set the franchise back further. I think in time it will be clear that the same is true with Sam Darnold. Vikings made the right decision

The more I think about it, the less likely it is that Hock will be back next year. Initially thought a restructured deal made sense, but given Josh Oliver’s performance and huge cap number, more likely that he is cut and Vikes roll into 2026 with Oliver as TE1

Ideal FA signings for Vikes: RB: Breece Hall, Travis Etienne, Keneth Walker WR: Hollywood Brown, Rashid Shaheed, Alec Pierce, Jauan Jennings Plenty of young cheap talent at these positions in this years FA class. Prioritize this positions in FA, hit iDL/CB in draft

Moves below would allow Vikes to sign FAs at the following $ amounts: WR3: $10M/year CB3: $7M/year RB: $9M/year If they nail 2 draft picks and can get starter quality (not elite) level production from current backups on the roster in 2026, this team could be dangerous
Assuming the moves below Vikes go into offseason needing to address: S, LB, CB3, iDL, C, RB, WR3 Start Matellus/Ward/Jackson at S Start Brandel or Jurgens at C Resign E Wilson Sign cheap FA CB3 Sign cheap FA WR3 Land starters in draft at iDL + RB Thoughts @PhilMackey @jzulgad

Vikes offseason moves I expect: -restructure Greenard and Hock -cut Aaron jones, kelly, Hargrave -Harrison Smith and CJ ham retire Several other potential moves, but these alone get Vikes $20M+ under the cap. Plenty for draft class and 2/3 FA signings
