AMEN THOMPSON SEALS IT FOR HOUSTON WITH THE REJECTION ❌ The Rockets secure the win vs. the Spurs in Austin!

Today, I joined our Tri-Mission Italy community to remember and honor the 2,977 precious lives taken from us twenty-five years ago today. We remember the men, women, and children whose lives were cut short—including those from more than 90 countries, among them Italy. Many of us still remember exactly where we were when we heard the news. Twenty-five years later, we will never forget. The terrorists sought to divide us and make us afraid. Instead, they reminded us of the strength of standing together. We are deeply grateful to our Italian friends for standing with us then, and for standing with us still. Thank you President Mattarella, for the moving message you gave today, in which you underscored how “The unanimous condemnation of what happened on the 11th of September 2001 prompted a strong cohesion of the international community against acts of terrorism.” The friendship and solidarity between our countries will always matter. Today, we stand together—as Americans, as Italians, and as friends.

Mr. President, thank you very much! Italian Americans and all Italians here in Italy greatly appreciate this. The Columbus statue at the Eisenhower Executive Building is a powerful symbol of our shared history and heritage 🇮🇹🇺🇸

It was an honor to welcome @FBIDirectorKash Patel to Italy. Thank you for taking the time to engage with our Embassy team and Italian counterparts during a brief but highly productive visit. Your leadership and commitment to strong U.S.-Italy law enforcement cooperation — including in support of the Olympic Games — are deeply appreciated.

Diplomacy is about people, partnerships, and the everyday moments that strengthen the U.S.–Italy relationship. 🇺🇸🤝🇮🇹 Follow me on Instagram instagram.com/usambitaly for a more personal look at my work all across Italy — from high-level engagements to the cultural experiences and conversations that bring our nations closer. I want to sincerely thank the leaders of the Italian government and institutions, and the Italian people for their messages of sympathy following the tragic floods in my beloved home state of Texas. In difficult moments like this, the strength of the U.S.-Italy friendship is deeply felt. On behalf of the people of Texas — thank you.

There’s only one country where I would serve as Ambassador — and that country is Italy. It was my honor to celebrate America’s #IndependenceDay in Rome — the city that welcomed my family with open arms. Proud to welcome PM Meloni and other Italian leaders as we marked 249 years of American independence and celebrated not just our history, but our shared future as allies, partners, and friends. Viva l’Italia and God Bless the United States!

I am grateful to @POTUS Trump for having confidence in me to put me in Italy and San Marino and carry out the mission in these two great Republics, to build a stronger relationship than we already have. I thank President Mattarella for his extremely warm welcome. I look forward to continuing to work with him. 🇺🇸🇮🇹🇸🇲
