Geto and Kenjaku actually had some interesting parallels.. Geto wanted to eliminate all non sorcerers so curses would stop being born, while Kenjaku wanted to merge all non sorcerers in Japan with Tengen to force humanity into a new state of existence
One wanted to eliminate them, the other wanted to transform them. Both were willing to sacrifice countless lives to achieve their vision of a new world.
The similarities between these two are actually crazy when you think about it

The reason why Korra has "defenders" or people sympathetic to her is because she's a female lead. Critiques of her writing are treated with pity, as misogyny and sexist by default.
We'd see similar protective reaction to characters like Mark Grayson or megumi fushiguro if they were written as female.

The animation in Seven Havens is so underwhelming it feels like a money grab. The animation quality proves they didn't care as long as fans will watch it.

Using cultural shift and bending preservation to defend poor animation while calling people illiterate is funny.
That doesn't explain why the animation has lower frame rate than Atla and Tlok.
People grew up with solid animation in this franchise, going from this to seven havens and expecting no complaints is nonsense. You're saying jargons and defending drop in quality.
