UF - Average defense will mean nice scoring this season. Kincaid hitting against that defense was VERY encouraging.
NYJ - Geno playing mistake free was a nice change. The Jets could be a live dog this season. Breece was the bellcow and they’ve got nice young weapons.
PIT - Shocked by the low target volume for Pittman. He was still their leading WR. Seems like Dowdle is the 40% in the RBBC, and not the high leverage 40%.
CLE - Young core looked good to my eyes. There was no juice because there is no leadership or culture. Long Season Ahead
CIN - Balanced game, which speaks to their defensive improvements. Higgins and Chase looked solid, but it didn’t show up. I don’t understand why there were 3 TEs getting targets and none were for All. Perine is a priority handcuff given Brown’s usage.
BAL - They closed out a game they wouldn’t have under Harbaugh. Flowers really looked like the game had slowed down a bit more for him, which was nice to see. Lane was open around the goal-line a lot.
TEN - I didn’t see anything actionable from this game. I’m worried Ward won’t get out fast enough to avoid the organizational stink.
IND - Alec Pierce is a little too inconsistent on contested catches to be a true 1. They need a chain mover. It needs to be Warren. They’ve got the pieces to hang. The defense looked weak in the back.
HOU - Nothing new here. Wanted to see Stroud win it at the end, but he’s just not quite there. Woody looked strong, without the usage. I’d guess they bring him in more as the season moves forward.
KC - KW3 had the 4th highest percentage of his team’s scrimmage yards in his first game with KC. Also, Kelce looked relevant. Everything else was Pat shaking off rust.
JAX - Give me all the Parker Washington. Wheels up. TLAW continues to look really in control.
LAC - The entire thing didn’t work. Really disappointing stuff out of everyone, especially after Ladd got knocked out.
DEN - I was excited about Waddles debut today, but Spags wanted to take that fun away. Preseason is important.
LV - Mike Washington is intriguing with the ball in his hands. Jeanty is obviously the focal point and Bowers will be when he gets out there. Mayer is a part of the future too. I’ll add I saw Bech and Nailor getting open and it’s possible Nando can hit em.
TB, I could see Bucky as a buy. I’m not going to buy in, because I’d rather buy Gainwell.
Rams: if you’re playing redraft, RBs and TEs may be good to pickup if they’re playing the Rams late
NYG - Ty Tracy, see ya later. This defense focused on slowing early rush attempts and was in control. Dart’s processing was fun to watch tonight.
PHI - Same stuff, different game. However, I’ve never seen Saquon hit like that. Sonny Stiles got him good a few times.
DET - Fantasy blueprint game. Would like to see more deep shots to Jamo or a throw to TeSlaa.
GB - With Parsons sidelined and Lafleur overmatched as an HC, the team looked average and directionless.
MIN - Whoa. That was an emotional roller coaster. I’m still in the Jordan Mason camp for season long.
CHI - I’m in on everything. Buy Loveland. Not sure why Khalid Raymond, but whatever.
ARZ - once they knocked out Ladd, the defense looked good! MHJ’s issue is going to be they’re really balanced.
CAR - Stuff that didn’t show up: Mitchell Evans was the Goal-to-go focal point of the pass attack. Brooks and Chubba both looked good. TMAC continues to be a shy away for me.
