$1 million in flood relief is now available across Queensland through Racing Queensland’s Training Assistance Fund.
The fund will provide an opening round of payments to eligible trainers of $500 or $1,000 depending on their respective activity levels.
Participants located within more than 50 Local Government Areas will face additional costs including transport, food, forage and bedding for animals as a result of floods throughout the state.

Queensland Day’s Mega Day of Sport just got bigger! 🐎
The Brisbane Racing Clubs Oaks Day at Eagle Farm will feature the Queensland Day Stakes alongside the classic $700,000 group 1 Queensland Oaks, marking a huge day of sport.
Grants of up to $5000 are available for eligible sport and racing organisations affected by ex-tropical Cyclone Koji and the North Queensland Monsoon Trough in parts of north, north-west and central Queensland.
For the first time, not-for-profit racing organisations across the three codes of Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound racing are eligible to apply for assistance.
