Albion fans enjoying The Liquidator today. Followed by chants of 'Wolverhampton, we're coming for you'.

Fans get their wish with Toti dropped and Krejci making his first start of the season. Armstrong for Mane too, with Raul captain.

Wonderful send-off to Phil 'Lofty' Parkes at St. Peter's Church in Wolverhampton. I counted 19 former @Wolves players from six decades, including John Richards, Steve Bull, Kenny Hibbitt, Derek Parkin, Steve Daley, Peter Knowles, Mel Eves and Carl Ikeme, plus Robert Plant.

The last time @Wolves played @Rovers at home to start the season, they were promoted (1982-83). The last time they played @pnefc away in their first away game, they were promoted (2013-14). Omens.

Ar @WBA, where the home fans have gone through an early repertoire of anti-@Wolves songs celebrating their rivals' relegation, 'Slap a Dingle', 'Wolverhampton we're waiting for you', 'Dingles get battered everywhere they go' and 'W***y Wanderers' among them.

So the man who took @Wolves into the @premierleague in 2018 is the one who relegates them after @WestHam's point at @CPFC tonight.

And to think today is the anniversary when @Wolves were dubbed 'Champions of the world'...

So sad - and typical of this woeful season - that after such a battling performance at leaders Arsenal that @Wolves now have two outright club records. Most league defeats in a row - 9 Moat league games without a win - 20.

Wolves also equalled their longest losing run of eight league games, set between December 1981 and February 1982.

This week I passed the 2,700-mile barrier in my challenge to run 3,000 miles in 2025, trying to raise £1,000 for Bridgnorth Spartans. This is from the 10-mile run that saw me complete that milestone, in mid Wales. It was cold! Please donate if you can: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…

It looks really bad for @Wolves right now, and I totally get the narrative about @Fosun_Intl and Pereira with so much anger around. But that performance deserved far better than the outcome. What is worrying is the cheap goals given away. Switched off for the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Good fun doing this. Thanks for the invite @_DazzlingDave! You're welcome to give it a listen.

I'm normally not too fussed about new kits, but I love the new @Wolves strip. A classy nod to the past and, a return to gold. To celebrate I've gone down Memory Lane - or rather into the loft - to unearth some favourites.

Pivotal day for @Wolves

'When I go to the pub, I like the beer but I go to be with the people." My feature for @TheSunFootball with @Wolves boss Vitor Pereira: thesun.co.uk/sport/34750205/…

Well done Wolves! A first League double over Man United since 1979-80, five straight top-flight wins for the first time since October 1970, but most importantly, safe with five games to spare! And for that we must thank Vitor Pereira. He won't have to buy a pint tonight!

Fantastic Neves goal.
